About MeHi there! My name's Joan and I'm from the Philippines. I'm 17 years old and, currently, a college freshman.
I'm just the average type. I am usually quiet and laid back, especially if I'm in a new surrounding.
My looks? Short (unfortunately), medium length hair, brown eyes, average body type...
I love singing . I think it can make you say what you feel inside. I'm not a pro, though. I love having karaoke moments with my friends and we'll just have a great time. I sometimes record sound clips of me singing with an instrumental track but I immediately delete them afterwards...XD
I usually listen to the radio
-- especially when I've got anything else to do -- and let time pass by. I enjoy listening to RnB and slow jam songs. I also love listening to mellow songs 'coz they're very soothing to the ears. I also enjoy rock music but on a very limited scale. I'm also a movie buff
. I love watching the latest flicks with my friends. I usually go for light-hearted films such as teeny-bopper, musical, and comedy films. You won't make me watch any scary/gory/suspense films, believe me. I'd rather read a book than watch any of those. Honestly, I don't see the point of scaring yourself to death. Plus, I get easily scared, period.There's just one thing that gets on my nerves -- the EMO fad
. Seriously, I think it's so pathetic. I don't see the point why people would like to be so down and depressed. All the dark clothes, one-sided bangs, and wrist-slitting drama are so *urgh*. Those who don the emo look are such posers and losers. And it's really really gay! Come on, there are so many things to be happy about, so why bring down your spirits and get depressed for a single or even no reason? Okay, maybe people will hate me for this, but then again, that's how I feel...=)Well, I guess that's all there is to know about me! I'm looking forward to meet you guys here in the Gaia world...
