I've been on Gaia for awhile now.. maybe about 10 years off and on. It's been mostly casual until the latter half. I was introduced to roleplaying by a guildmate of mine and from there the interest because somewhat of an obsession.. which is what has gotten me involved with some very fun guilds, events, and has introduced me to lots of amazing people on this 'little' site!
Maybe the best known of events I've been apart of is the Annual User-run ball, an RP event that the Gaia moderators allow users like me (and you reading this) to host. Each year the RP is a different theme - sometimes it's a ballroom party, sometimes it's a festival hosted by greek gods, and sometimes it's a dreamworld opened up to all of Gaia to explore - but it's always hosted and moderated by the Annual Ball staff. These people are just regular Gaians who love to RP, love to meet new people, and have invested a year of their life into planning and coordinating an event for the entire site to enjoy.
Lots of things have changed about the ball over the years but it's always fun and it's always worth a gander. If you have questions about the ball, or if you'd like to check out and think about volunteering or offering your skills as an artist or graphic designer, or even a writer or roleplayer, then send me a message and I'll do my best to set that up.
Or, if you'd simply like to donate (because artists deserve to be paid for their work!!) then you can ask and I'll let you know the best way to do that.

As for more about me.. I love Unicorns, cats, wolves and sharks. I'm a big animal lover, which you can probably tell by the fact that that's the first thing I mention about myself. I'm an older Gaian - born in 1987 ( surprised ) - but I'm not so mature that I'd be above chatting it up with anyone. I like to RP and that's really all I do on this site anymore. I might be up for joining an RP but don't be put off if I decide not to accept an invite, I just get busy at times and don't like starting or joining something that I can't devote a lot of time to.
Also, I LOVE art. Art of all kinds of styles and levels is my favorite thing about this site and now I've gotten a small collection. Unfortunately I don't have artist credits for all of the art here so if you recognize something of yours then shoot me a PM and I can put your name there (and maybe even commission some more art!)
I was Patience in the Wrath Room during the 9th Annual Ball (the Sins & Virtues Ball)
I was the Prince of Thieves in the 10th Annual Ball (the Dreamworld Ball.) I also played a Knight in the court and another thief named Sora. I puppeted the Queen for a short bit too!
The post styles for the Queen and the Prince of Thieves was done by Pax Britannica.
And I was the Main Host in the 11th Annual Ball, playing Dorian Gray (in our Classical Literature Ball) and I also played Merlin, trying to fix the stories, and floated as the Annual Ball mule to answer guest questions.

Finally, the characters I have RP'd the most are Star Wars characters. I've never asked for art of these characters but have been gifted it by friends. This is the first time I'll be posting their profiles publicly along with a collection of art of all of them... and I wouldn't mind getting some more art of them some day if they happen to intrigue any artists out there....
