Hi, my name is Kay.
I'm 17 years old, and I'm a high school senior.
I love to write. It's my deepest passion and my primary form of expression. I've been writing poetry since I was about 10 years old, but I wrote my first poem when I was 6. I'm currently trying to put together a book of my poetry and short stories to be published someday.
I also love music, and I'm pretty sure I couldn't live without it. It keeps me sane and relieves stress. I like a little of everything, but these days mostly rock and classical. Country and rap tend to get on my nerves. ><
My friends mean the world to me, and they're some of the most awesome people you'd ever meet. A small portion of this must be dedicated to my boyfriend, Michael, whom I love with all my heart. He holds me together through everything, the good and especially the bad, and he's truly an amazing person. =]
And I think that's about it, lol.

I intend to use this journal mostly for random updates, things that are going on in my life, etc. Rambling, basically. Though there may be some poetry posted somewhere down the line if I feel like it.

The moon just left the full moon stage actually, last night. Apparently, there was an alignment between it and three other planets (I can't remember which ones) that caused all the negative energy to build up, but I think it's all over now...
