Hmmm. What do you need to know about me?My name is Amanda. When I meet people, I like to know their names/online aliases- I dislike having to call people by their username unless it's brief before getting to know them better. It's too impersonal and blah, in my opinion.
I love to learn and grow, which means I am not a steady girl in likes, ideas, and the such. But my core values, personality and some beliefs tend to remain the same. 3nodding Though, being an open-minded person, my mind is changeable, if it's something I want and allow it to be changed into.
I thoroughly love and enjoy meeting new people. There are times when I am stumped and clueless and can't seem to stretch my mind far enough to figure out what to talk about, and need the other person to take over. Then there are times when I'm in a very talkative mood and already have the juices flowing, and the questions, topics, and things to discuss just keep coming- sort of like now... 3nodding
I am one of the older Gaian's- I'm 23 years old. Not the oldest, but definitely not the youngest. razz In case you missed it on the section, my birthday is August 27th... if you're bad at math, that means I was born in the year '87.
My favorite color is fuchsia, and several various shades of purple.. and I also greatly love red, green, all shades of blue, black, and like/love for various things- orange, yellow, brown, and for certain things (like backgrounds for writing) I like white. 3nodding ...Yes, I love all colors. ;P Some more than others, depending on what it is, lol. mleh. ;}
I am as far from religion as you will find. No joke. I used to be considerably intrigued and interested in it. But the more I learn and hear, the more it turns me away. I am NOT agnostic or athiest or anyyyyyyyyyyyyyy thing. If you MUST label me to ease your mind, label me as "non-religious" or "other" or anything that does NOT tie me into ANYTHING related to religion, please. I prefer to adventure out and cut down my own path to follow and learn things with my own clear mind instead of being forced to follow someone elses' needs and desires. Boo. I have my own mind, values, and beliefs, and I know how to use them well enough to decide things on my own when it comes to those things. I don't need someone hanging guilt or redemption or force of any kind above my head to make me my life worthwhile. If that leads me to Hell or wherever in the end because I chose not to love God or whatever. Then so be it. I don't want to be there if I'm not wanted simply because I chose to follow my own desires... simply because I chose not to believe in nor love someone above all else when I know them not. Forgive me, but I decide who I love and in what rank they are in my life. I don't need someone to tell me I MUST put someone above those that I have a strong tie with and don't want to love. Especially when that spot is reserved for someone far more special in my life that deserves my number one spot... and the rest of my family, friends, and loved ones deserve the other spots.
