It's kind of dizzying when you try to look back and realize how far you've really come. I'm at the bottom of the hill, more or less -- things can only go up from here and I'm slowly learning to realize how far up things have already come.I love music and art, and appreciating the world around me. People are gifted with the ability to learn and understand and grow, and I try to take advantage of this as much as possible. Of course, I still have a long way to go... sweeping away the cobwebs of ignorance and complacency is a difficult task.
I'm not in it alone, either -- I'm blessed with the company of some lovely people that are in it with me for the long haul, for better or worse. Sure, things have been rocky lately, but what road doesn't have a pothole or two?
