There are a lot of things that I'd like to say in this 'About Me', though I know I won't be able to fit it all, so... Let's go with the basics, or what I call the basics:

Name: I'm Samantha, but I prefer to go by Sami. Samantha sounds too formal. Bleh.

Age: In a nutshell, I'm 14. But I'm told I look older. Something like that.

Grade: Freshmen in highschool... Oh joy.

Reason for being here: Um, I guess I came upon this site a while ago, though I just now got an account.

Favorites:

Singer: Lacey Mosley wins by a landslide, literally. She sings for the band Flyleaf, and one of my stories (Broken Wings) is inspired by their song 'Red Sam'. Weird how my name is Sam, right? Anyways, she has an amazing voice, and if you have time, you have to listen to one of her songs. My favorite of theirs is 'Penholder'.

Band: Flyleaf and Evanescance. Again, Flyleaf is my favorite band of all-time, but Mom is like "It gives me a headache, turn it off," I don't really care... she never listened to the words. All she had to hear was the word kill, or bleed, and she goes into this protective mom stage. but the band is Christian band, and the songs are really inspiring. Evanescance, also a Christian band, is also a favorite. And "Weird Al" is just too weird. I think that's why I like them!

Song: 'Penholder' by Flyleaf. if you listen to it, it actually makes sense. If you go on youtube, you can find the video that has the lyrics on it, that way you can tell what she's singng.

Musical device: Me I-pod! I love it! Last week I thought I broke it 'cause it got frosen when we were iceskating... but it's back up and running!

Musical Instrument: The flute. I play the flute, and I'm staying in band next year. My flutie's name is Allison, because of the initial on the outside of her case. I know, I'm weird for naming my flute, but she's the most wonderful flute I've ever had.

Animal: It is so a wolf. you don't know how much I love them. Our group of friends usually Role Play about wolves all the time, and it's so much fun! Sometimes we can just be really weird about that kind of stuff, but it's always fun to do it with friends.

Book: Either The Sight, WOLF: a journey home, or the Twilight series (this time about vampires. I know, I know, vampires and wolves are a strange combination) Oh, by the way, if you think that I'm one of those who have only recently read it, you're wrong. I started reading the series the day after the first book came out, mainly because it looked interesting, and my friend convinced me to read it. I nearly died waiting for the next books to come out.

Movie: SWEENEY TODD! If you haven't see the movie and loved it, you're insane! It's my favorite movie, EVER! Don't ask me why I love a pshyco killer barber demon dude, I just do. By the way, you should also go and watch Twilight. It wasn't too bad, but in my opinion, it was still way worse than the book. And to those out there who think the actor for Edward is hot, you're completely and utterly insane. He doesn't even relatively look like him, in my opinion. The other actors and actresses wer much better, especially Jasper, who by the way, looked a tad bit like Edward Scissorhands, which was way cute.

TV show: Um... New Amsterdam and Kyle XY. I've been obsessing over New Amsterdam for a reason I have yet to find out.

Food: One word: SUSHI. I am a huge Japanese food lover, and i'm all for trying out any kind of food, as long as it's not poisonous.

Genre: Fiction, Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction, and a lot more.

Hobby: Writing, of course! That and drawing. But mostly I stay huddled in the den and type on the computer all day. My little sister gets mad, yells at me, and then does the same exact thing. I'm like, what the heck? She can be such a hypocrite sometimes... but apparently I'm not supposed to call her that because it's 'rude'. She is such a pain in the butt.
