On Gaia, I used to be a GCD & Q&A regular and a fisher. I made many friends and acquaintances fishing, majority of whom no longer play the game. Much
heart to Scrotie, Luccessi, lava, John, Kitteh and Peridot, all of whom made fishing much more fun for me. I quit Gaia when Fishing went down and the Devs took eons to fix it. I believe this was some time around 2015. It is now 2020 and I've returned, as I'm unable to leave my childhood behind completely. I swear there's a 13 year old me living inside my brain.
I'm 29 years old now, I'm a paralegal in no-fault insurance law and employment law, and I'm re-learning Gaia along with all the new developments I've missed in the past years. It's tough, but I'm determined as I will always love this site and the original team that made it a happy community.
I designed my profile as a teenager new to coding, so please excuse the cringey labeling of sections. Although I find them terrible now, I keep it for nostalgic purposes. That and I designed it based off of the victoria secret's logo. My love for that that store still hasn't changed a bit.
I forgot to mention that I also returned to resume my fishing goals. I am dangerously close to receiving my angelic rod, which I'm currently questing by fishing the required amount. I also came to get 1st place in Junk when the time is right (Work during the pandemic has been crazy for me). I received second place in junk fishing some time around August 2013.
