He didn't really understand the whole "dame" thing. Must be an old-thing.
"Why you cannot just summon me here so I can know firsthand? If Steven is so busy, den why do you send him as de delivery boy? Send one of these guys. Dey are not doing anything."
Viktor had just noticed the gross quantities of booty guards and loyal dog REPOmen standing at attention. And all unnervingly staring at him. His palms were sweating and he thought of the gun, always at rest in the back of his pants. And the one in the ankle holster. And the knives up his sleeves and even the pocket knife in his pocket. He was a good shot and could take several on, but he wasn't here to fight. Viktor hid the nervousness on his face. He sat down.
"Whoa. You did a serious mekover, sir. But why choose my face? I can understand why not Josie, she's a midget. And Steven, he's got dat nasty scar on de face and de need to shev. Why not Nathan? He looks like a strong-willed and fatherly sort. I just sort of look like a slacker."
HALF by a year?
Steven boggled. That .. that would help him ... quite a bit.
"Aye. I'll do it. An' all pay'll go t' that!" His tone sounded determined, and even over the communicator, one could more than likely tell he was smiling.
"T--Thank yeh."
Finally, he would be able to repay Nathan for all he'd done ... "Do I need t' 'ead o'er there now?"

"I'm leaving, den, sir. Sorry to mess with your efficiency."
Viktor bowed and walked out, patting the "TIME!" REPO on the shoulder as he passed.
"Good job, Fido. I will bring you a dog biscuit next time."
