Poem by: thricsie_xvi queen vampirate enters with style, creating a short poem for her could be a worth while. a romantic lover, she depicts her self to everyone. exquisite, uncommon to see from someone.
pirates and vampires are her absorption. her interests may be quite disorienting because of her mindset's abstraction. still, she can't be easily propelled by just anyone. treat her fair to avoid being undone.
Poem by: o0Mr-_-Man0o My lover is the Sea Beautiful in tranquil or troubled tides My lover is the storm Fury and peace in turn, time bides
My lover is the siren's song Bewitching and enchanting pulling me along My lover is the rum. Leaving me babbling and dumb.
My lover is the Pirate Queen Plundering and pillaging my love away My lover is the Vampire Dangerous but I can not stay away
Me, Queen Vampirate!
~~incomplete at the moment~~ Captain Scarlet's the name and sailing the seas is my game! I see you found my little journal entry. Well I'll tell you I was born with water in my veins and took to the seas when I was just a wee lass. As time went by I joined various ships and their crews and fell in with the pirates. But you must know, I am no ordinary pirate. You see, I am actually a Vampirate!
Growing up I had a normal childhood: I had a loving family, I went to school, I played with my friends. My parents provided well; my mother was a maid and my father a fisherman. I was always eager to be on his ship and help him fish. Then one night, when I was about 16, a man came and robbed us. He had a crazed look in his eye when he burst through our doors. He held a gun to my head as he demanded our goods. He took all our jewelry and money. I was infuriated by this. I believe this is how my pirate side came out in me. I too wanted to rob others, but not for my profit, but for that of the poor because I had vowed that no one else should suffer the emotional trauma that my family and I had that night.
When I turned 19 I had enough saved up from helping my dad to buy my own ship. It was small enough for a crew of 3 people max, but I loved it. I mainly sailed from Port to Port alone, selling trinkets and herbs and even doing odd jobs for people to save up money for a bigger ship and a real crew. As I said, I made a vow and I intended to keep it. So I did that for three years that seemed to drag on, but each shilling was worth it.
One night whilst I was at port gathering supplies, a destitute man was begging for my help. Being the kind lady that I am I went to help the gentleman. Little did I know the danger that lurked ahead. As I went to hand him some money, he pulled me into the alley behind the bar and sunk his fangs right into my neck! Thankfully a bar wench saw what happened and shot at him, scaring him off. However, it was too late for me. She helped me to my room at the Inn so I could recover. A local doctor cleaned my wound and gave me some medicine. That night, I could tell something was wrong. I wasn't healing. My whole body ached like it never had before. I knew right then and there that it couldn't have been a normal bite. That man had to be something else...some kind of demon. I've heard people talk about vampires, but I always thought it was just superstition. But now I believed it. I didn't want anyone coming after me so I hid in my captain's cabin until the transformation was complete. I must tell ye it was the most pain I've ever experienced. I felt like one of those poor witches burned at the stake. The blood lust hit me hard and fast the following night. I entered the bar shaking with hunger. Everyone looked and smelled delicious. I saw a man passed out in the corner and was about to go in for the kill when I my conscious took over. I had to leave immediately. I was scrounging around in the streets for rats that night to slake my thirst. It wasn't much, but better than nothing. I did this for a week when I caught the attention of another vampire. His name was Slade. He trained me on how to be a proper vampire. I learned to lurk in the shadows to sneak up on my prey, how to run fast, how to fight, and so much more. The most important thing he taught me was how to take blood from others without killing them. We parted ways after my training; I will always be grateful for him.
Since then I took on bigger jobs for more money. The humans never really questioned how I found their lost items or loved ones so fast and easily, how I built something so quickly, or how I tracked down and subdued the criminal slung over my shoulder. Perhaps it was out of fear for what I could do to them that their lips remained sealed. I'm certain they knew what I was, but because I was nice to them and really helped them out, they never came after me. (It's not like the Devil's Jig would work on me anyway.) They would just admire my strength and strangeness, hire me, and pay me for a job well done. I can't tell you how many times I saw them doing the Holy Cross on themselves as I left. It only took a year of that work to give me more than enough for a real ship and hire a crew. At first they thought they were too good to take orders from a 23 year old, but when they learned of my abilities, they were quick to listen and work. They have been a very loyal crew to me since then and share my eagerness to raid treasure and share it with the poor. And yes we do keep a little for ourselves so we can have supplies and spending money. We all need it so don't judge this vampirate. Whispers say I am a fearsome captain to behold. My crew and I fight hard and have never lost a battle. We leave a trail of blood in our wake. I'd have to say my favorite, and true, rumor is that my eyes glow red with Hell fire when I fight.
I have a confession to make. I believe I was given this gift in order to help those who need it and bring damnation to those who deserve it. This is why I continue to raid, pillage, plunder, and fight. But, there are two more reasons why I sail the seas. First, though I am loving my vampire nature, I am still mad at the man who turned me into a demon for now I must watch those that I love perish. And second, I sail in hopes of meeting Slade again. He made my silent heart beat with love and lust. Only he can bring out that feeling again.
Maybe one day our paths will cross my dear reader. Just hope ye don't have any treasure on you pirate
In my day I called it a pirate ship, today, it's a yacht

I'll tell you a tale of Vampirates A tale as old as true. Yea, I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship And its mighty fearsome crew. Yea, I'll sing you a song of an ancient ship That sails the oceans blue...That haunts the oceans blue. The Vampirate ship has tattered sails That flap like wings in flight. They say the captain, he wears a veil So as to curtail your fright. At his death pale skin And his lifeless eyes And his teeth as sharp as night. Oh, they say the captain, he wears a veil And his eyes never see the light. You'd better be good, child- good as gold, As good as good can be Else I'll turn you in to the Vampirates And wave you out to sea. Yes, you'd better be good child- good as gold, Because- look! Can you see? There's a dark ship in the harbor tonight And there's room in the hold for thee! (Plenty of room for thee) Well, if pirates are bad, And vampires are worse, Then I pray that as long as I be, That though I sing of Vampirates, I never one shall see. Yea, if pirates are danger, And vampires are death, I'll extend my prayer for thee- That thine eyes never see a Vampirate...... and they never lay a hand on thee.
