To a world that abhors you and I?

The path we take shall hold an answer
March onward to our destiny
The greatest question of all is only that of our goal

A God ripped from his throne
Cast upon the mortal world
To endure the pain and suffering that he wrought upon others
Once an untouchable deity
Now a shadow, made so by the Mirage of Deceit
Blinded by the screams of a dying world
And now chained to live in the very hell he created
There are no more heroes
No more allies
No hope remains
Wings, clipped at the bone
And the beloved "Gift", burned in plumes of despair and lie
All that remains is a shattered shell
Molded by Deceit
In this dark decaying world
Nothing remains to cling to
All that has become known is loneliness
Sanity ripped from the palace of his mind
At the loss of this Gift
The soul, tainted by the Void
His majesty shall close from the world
What must be done at the end of this path?
To seek the ultimate revenge?
To accept this dreadful fate?
To throw thine existence away?
Or to throw away humanity and freedom; bound by Deceit until seen useless

The Goddess knows no mercy for a monster
The Mirage has bound chains to the fallen God
Becoming a mere play thing
This is the End

That is the wish of the Fallen
But forever a prisoner

The heart of the Fallen be ripped from his chest
Strung up as memorial for what be lost with the Gift
Wrath and vengeance be all that those eyes will see

Through the fires of hell
The Fallen had climbed from the brink of extinction
Time and time again, his body made of Ash
Though like the mighty Phoenix Born anew to the world
Cut free from the ropes and chains
The grit of Deceit all but gone
To the Tower in the sky, forever banished
Upon the new world the Fallen takes flight once more
Through the Rebirth he has seen the Eyes of the Goddess
And has heard her song in the far off distance
Though his Gift be lost
The resolve to find once more a blessing sends him forward
The benevolence of her light has eased the dark and corrupt Abyss of his heart The Gift of the Goddess
An Angel in the Night Taken blade in hand to bring the Dusk With soul and heart renewed
The finale at hand
Fair one of my love and cause
Across the boarders of light and dark
The Hero races With the destination within reach The Gift within sight
As the sun finally sets The Dusk falls The Demon revealed
And to attain the Gift, the hero must stand and fight Release the past that binds you
Onward to glory With the blade of the Goddess
The Hero and Demon share one final battle
The hearts tremble
The vicious battle had raged on
Until the blade pierced the body of the Demon
Rain befalls the land
A rain of life
Behold the glory of her being
The radient light emminating from her
Having fought for so long
The Hero can finally know peace
Under the night sky, a dance for the night
The grand finale of such a sorrowful tale
Being saved from the darkness
The Hero, forever greatful
For you, my dearest friend
My dearest soul
No matter what the world shall think
Even if the entire world should turn against you
I will stand by your side until the end
For you have bestowed upon me a wonderful Gift

What must be done to achieve it's true blessing?
Even when its right in front of us
What we must do to attain it will be unbeknownst to us
Be it halted by the terror of loss
The matter if this Gift must be taken delicately
For if the Gift is lost once more
There may never be another
Its mystery may be great
But the feeling of euphoria
The resolve to protect it
And the blessing to change our lives
The pain we endure trying to obtain it...
What must be done in this hour
What sacrifices must be made
To throw everything on the line
