My name is lauren ashley donuts. I'm now a ninth grade student starting my first year at highschool. I consider myself an outgoing and optimistic. I'm an artist, so of course I love free-flowing objects and going with the flow.
It's just who I am.
I've been drawing a certain style - anime - since 2nd grade. Atleast, I tried in 2nd grade. I now consider myself some-what good at what I do, but not nearly as good as some of the other's I've seen here on gaia and from actual anime/manga artists. I'm also a writer, but only creatively. Of course, I can write essays and things pretty well - like this, for example - but I prefer fiction and fantasy over non-fiction and essays. I have tried to write longer stories but they all end up being WIP that aren't in progress, but I'm working on that!
I've never really been into sports, or the most academic girl of my time. I've had friends that are much better at that sort of thing. You could say.. I loose my focus quickly - or you could say I have 'Shiny-Object-Syndrome'. I'm getting better at that too, but I can be smart when I want to. Yes, I do know big words. Last year - in 8th grade - I took a semester of french, and I can understand basic phrases like 'bonjour', 'salut', and 'Je m'appelle Lauren' but I don't understand when french people use chat or IM talk. That's just confusing. For the rest of the french, excluding chat or IM talk - I ignore that. - I use google and other website translators. Kudos to that!
