Time for a profile update methinks, to sweep away the past and herald in a return to Gaia!Hi, I'm Rogue and after having been an avid Gaia user for four years, from 2005-2009. I pretty much dropped out of it until late 2012, when teh awesome Odangou (who I still kinda think of as Raven, her old account, damn hackers!) got back in touch and brought me back to the site and I realised how much i'd missed it! More about her later though. :3
I'm pretty much a one man geekatron from the UK, interested in many geeky things; from reading scifi and fantasy, learning to draw digital art, writing stories, playing video games, watching GOOD comedy such as Frasier, Cheers, Friends, Scrubs, MASH and a smattering of BBC sitcoms, such as Blackadder. I also very much enjoy literate roleplaying and debating various issues. Making friends feel special and awesome is also a hobby of mine! xD
Nerdy TV shows:BSG, Babylon 5, Doctor Who, Farscape, LOST, Firefly, Star Trek DS9.
Internet / Youtube Favourites: Yogscast, JesuOtaku Anime Reviews, Malukah, Pewdiepie, Spoony Experiment, Jimplaysgames.
Favourite video games include Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Skyrim, the Assassin's Creed series, Kingdoms of Amalur, Minecraft, Dead Space, and numerous retrogames and jrpgs.
Still an anime fan, my favourites including, but not limited to Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Welcome to the NHK, BECK, Full Metal Panic, Planetes, Outlaw Star, FMA and numerous oldies such as Wings of Honniamise and Dominion Tank Police.
Favouite authors include Jacquiine Carey, Terry Pratchett, John Birmingham, Ben Bova, William King and R A Salvatore. Other geekeries include alternate history / parallel worlds

She deserves a special mention on my profile, because she is seriously my new best friend. SHE IS THAT AWESOME! We met in 2006 here on Gaia, had an amazing few months hanging out and rping, then lost contact and after a couple of abortve attempts at staying in touch, after six years, she got back in touch in December 2012 and well, we're back, bishes!
She is just so awesome, she'd not only remembered who I was, but had never forgotten me (nor I her!) and still remembered me with fondness and everything we used to do and we pretty much picked up where we left off, as if it were only last week when we spoke. Gotta be worth something that, right?
She's so much fun to spend time with, an anime and gamer geek, a consumate literate RPer and writer of fanfiion and weaver of worlds. biggrin
I'm just so happy she's back in my life again, we're having so much fun together, particularly RPing again, that i'm just a-glow with happiness, pretty much 24-7! Best unexpected christmas present evah! mrgreen
