I used get that way sometimes with my work. Not being able to complete it till after the due date. It sux >_<. As for writing well I try and mix it up. Sci-fi and fantasy is usually the main genres I'll go into just because my mind feels more freedom. Then I may branch to action, romance, maybe horror. Other times I may do a bit of fan fiction for something I've seen on tv. Usually it is whatever comes to mind, but depending on the length of my work it may include all of those and more. For now I've been doing stand alone pieces for writing contests on gaia or different categories of fan fiction. The writing contests usually get me motivated enough to put pen to paper (or get my fingers on the keys) to create something. I also do some poetry although it's been over a year since I last created a poem ^^;. Right now though I've just been focusing on a long fanfic that I've been neglecting for a while. That and fixing up the piece I did for Nano.



Sorry it took so long for a reply. I'm still in the midst of finals. >_<
