They call me the Young Elder wolf
at least they used to.............not too long ago my pack was killed by our rivals of the midnight dusk pack. My pack, Blue moonlight, were all found dead. i was there only survivor left. now i am only but a mere lone wolf searching for a new pack.
i remember back in the day when i used to read to the young pups of the clan. the pups always listened, unlike those older wolves that claim themselves as "adults". so joyful and so playful they were as i recall. all the wolves asked for my wisdom. although i'm quite young of an elder it was only mere fact that i would hold the upmost important information for them
As wise as i was i went up to the lake to get fresh water for the pups before we leave for our long journey back home. But, as i was about to come back, i heard small squeals. when i turned around it was just as i expected i was surrounded by only the most vial wolves in the Midnight Dusk pack.
Although i felt selfish i knew there was only one way for me to survive. i jumped into the mere artic water and started to swim. Too cold for the Dusk wolves to follow they turned around and left. For 40 days and 40 nights i swam through the freezing cold waters. Not once have i seen a creature there that even tried to touch me as i swam.
But i grew weary and tired. For all i had to eat was the small fish that passed me by. Even then i couldn't stop for long, unless i wanted to get eaten by a seal or killed by a whale.
Before i fell into a deep sleep i remember...........seeing the home land..... the land that my pack wanted to make it to. I was the only one who was able to make it.........the log i stayed attached to all this time hit the banks of the land. i slept unable to move..........something clutched around the skin of my neck and yanked me out of the water. That was that i made it to my home land once again. But some day the karma will reach the Midnight Dusk pack and they will soon be killed like they killed my pack.
