haha, noo.. i don't have the right face shape for it really.
i had short hair when i was younger though, so i might try it again sometime ^^

ahaha right :3 so it isn't so rare, that's good.
but, that's far less than i know, many of my friends speak at least 2 other languages.. i guess we are just lucky to be brought up this way.

oh, well, it is pretty easy to pick up a new language. and you can help it along by watching foreign films and stuff :3 so it's never too late.
do many people you know speak another language?

mhm! well, this is when you can sincerely feel for them, which i think is much better than the false sympathy we are encouraged to give.
but since we are unlikely to be in the same situation, it's quite hard.
i only really help charities that i feel for, so, the RSPCA and the Polar Bear/Panda ones :3 sometimes the RSPCC, but not often. it would be better if we could guarantee where our money and support goes :/

oh, sure, i know what you mean! so few people learn other languages, yet we expect them to know ours perfectly.
it's selfish really. but i only know a little (well, i consider it little) of a few other languages, so i can't really comment :3

mhm. people care more about animals than they do about people. i guess "looking down on them" wasn't really the right way to put it though, humans aren't so cruel...
i meant that, rather than feeling bad for them, we are more likely to go "thank god it wasn't us".

ahahha, latin, really? that's funny.
we have the option to learn french, spanish and german (but only recently), so, we are as bad as you with this. but at least it means that only those with a real interest will learn another language - i'm sure if we were all forced to, some idiot would ruin it.

sure. catastrophe is good for a society :3
even better when it isn't happening to themselves, so they can all join together and look down at the ones it is happening to.
