2021 About Me

My life, pre- and surely post-pandemic, revolves around live music. Especially punk. Especially Oi! & ska punk. I've seen my favorite bands enough times that I have to actively try to avoid meeting them after shows (mild anxiety + extreme social awkwardness = moderate anxiety). I've seen Rancid enough times they recognize my face. And I'm pretty sure Lars knows my name by now despite never having a full conversation with him.

Music is an enormous part of my life. I've met the most amazing friends at shows. From across the world. Which is amazing because I hate travelling. I don't think I deserve them. I have no idea why they're my friends. Can't wait to see my boys again.

I'm socially awkward enough to hate the phrase "Hey, I remember you." I don't want to remember what I've said or done to make you remember me.

I am constantly wondering, "How is this my life?" Everything just seems so perfect. Except the awkwardness. But it's fun.
