Because we're not important enough. The village sent out an announcement that they're going to be doing SOMETHING about the snow tomorrow. It's still unclear what though.

Nah, it stopped snowing about an hour ago. My dad just finished clearing out the doorways and is working on the driveway. One of my neighbors said that we should try working on clearing the street since none of the plows are running.

Eh, at our house we just shove the onion in a ziplock baggy and shove it in the fridge and forget about it until we need it again. It lasts in there for months before beginning to mold. And I think in some places there's about a meter of snow. Most of the houses here are covered in snow and my friend is crying on facebook because her car has been buried.

But one onion can last for like eeeeeevar! And there's so much snow here that the village has declared a civil emergency. This place has been shut down!

Usually the snow isn't much of a factor, but this is a really REALLY big storm! All the schools are closed (yay~) and the front porch is already completely buried in snow! We're snowed in! And back to food, who needs spice when you can just saute everything with onions???

I want lobster... I haven't eaten that in like EVAR... I loooooooooove seafood. Actually, at the moment, I'd like ANY food that I didn't have to make myself. *looks outside* There's a blizzard out there and the village just called to say that none of the snow plows will be running for a while....
