"I try to pick the pieces up, with my bare hands. But the pain is too strong, so I drop them in the sand.

If I remember, they will fall apart. But the pain is too strong, I feel like Im ripping apart.

These pieces were once a beautiful mirror. You could gaze into it and see your demeanor.

I would look into it and see my reflection. But only to see that I wasnt perfection.

So I smashed the mirror, its glory once gone. But it wasnt long until you came along.

You saw me for who I was, a girl with a lonely soul. You couldnt buy me for silver or gold.

Why do you love me? Why do you care? Why do I feel this way when your so near?

My life feels complete, with you standing there. Now that empty wall seems awfully bare.

So I pick up the pieces, the pain isnt gone. You grab my hand, and we sing a song.

You help me build that mirror once again. Now Im not left in pieces all over the sand."
