its near riften you have to go int a cave that leads you to a winding path. that takes you to Dawnguard castle and thats how you start.also what bow? the theives guild's reward is a key, but i always return it because i already get high lock picking skills

yeah but if you have the dawnguard DLC then shadowmare is just a black horse with red eyes that can die, where as Ardvak is a blue flaming undead horse that you can summon.

in oblivion the theives guild was the one i hated and the one i liked the most was the dark brother hood, now in skyrim i like the theives guild because you get the coolest looking light armor

its fine, i'm thinking a thief that wants to keep old tradition, but also wants Ravens power for his own skills to steal the crown of thieves

its fine, though if you want and idea, you could try and catch the thief who stole from you. i'm pretty sure that the fang she took from your pocket would be noticed which would end in a little brawl between the two.
