Besides mastering martial arts like karate, kung fu, judo, jiu-jitsu. ChainChung is a ninja of fire and darkness. He got the powers from the King of Dragons with whom he made a pact. He can't use both powers at same time, and he is dependent on the environment whether he can use fire or darkness powers. He is also not allowed to use any other powers besides fire and darkness. He is restricted to use fire only in bright or hot environments (like lava caves), and only darkness in shadowy places that are also cold. He can use martial arts, and his swordsmanship to fight as well imbue those weapons he uses with the same magic of fire and darkness.
As a fire ninja he deals a lot of damage using flames of The Dragon King. As a darkness ninja he steps into the shadows to fight stealthily using invisibility and shadow clones.
