Well I'm sorry it had to come to this, but sadly, I feel it's only appropriate to join the other frustrated users and go on an indefinite hiatus. Until the management decides to pull their enormous heads out of their asses, I will only log on for holidays. I'm very sad to see this wonderful site go down the crapper, but Gaia does not deserve the web traffic that it gets anymore, and I suggest you do the same.

Um uhhh wow I haven't updated ANY of this account since about 2008 wow. OK so let's see here... uhhh my name is Lauren but you can call me Watari I guess. See when I was a young, innocent weeaboo, I found an online translator and thought 'watarimono' meant 'wanderer' in Japanese, and thought I could shorten it to Watari and DADADAAAA my username happened.

UPDATE: Guess what Google translate says "watari" means. "Wading". As in "to wade". I have been going around calling myself Wading for 9 years. Fantastic.

No I'm still not changing my username.

I probably won't accept your friend request unless I know you irl or if we were friends on Neopets/deviantArt 500 years ago. Or if we spoke on the boards.
