Elo, my name is Jess and I would much rather be a butterfly. A butterfly that didn't have anything to worry about except drinking nectar. No boys, no love, no crushes, no heartbreak. Blind from the horrors of this sadistic world, free from the restraints of social life. Not needing money, not being bored. Just fluttering around and drinking nectar. Spending all my time in parks, with the flowers glistening in the sunlight. About a week goes by and its over.But, I am here. Stuck with rules and regulations, exhaustion and boredom. Modern civilizations and pollution. Annoyance and hate. Starvation and murder. And worst of all, love. The constant pain, wrapped around my heart like razor wire.
I am also here with the freedom and independence. The big city lights and shops. The fun and games.
And most of all, love. Love that drives me on this god forsaken planet. That puts deeper reason to my existence. The love that is like pure ecstasy. The fated love.
The love that will surely kill me.
But in the end, every second is a second of life passed. Of your life. Another second that you need to embrace.
So while you are gossiping and hating and fighting and doing drugs, I am laying in the grass somewhere staring at the butterflies, I am listening to music, I am tasting food and being mesmerized by flowers, I am staring at the clouds, I am embracing every second.
