I just want to let you go, don't call me anymore. i don't want to feel this pain or have you feel it more. sadness running down my face, falling on my lap. words in my mind ill never say, trying to come out. I won't say i miss you, and even though theres pain--i know the choice that i have made will play it's part in game.

i cry into the rain, to try and hide my pain. But the real tears that fall have you in them all, and it's hard not to go insane. I see your face in the water, caught beneath waves. My mother's not so well, and she worsens every day--the doctor says she'll be gone soon--to be with you, I pray. You used to tell me to be safe--to always look both ways. I wish I would have said the same, so you wouldn't fly away. I live with another kind family, and they don't tell me what to do. But I would give this whole life up if I could just be back with you.
