I got the chocolate! whee Oh, it was all so tasty too! biggrin *nibbles on a pocky* Mm, I don't know how you manage to find such absolutely delicious flavors! And the yanyan! Chocolate-strawberry is now officially my FAVORITE kind! heart So of course, there's no where to get them up here... rolleyes The strange Collon orange rolls come in next (I love orange-flavored things)--my mom kept trying to steal those.. ninja And leave it to you to find chocolate pretzels! rofl Oo, those were good too. whee We shared the chocolate cookies though (still have some left), and it's going to take me awhile to go through the flower candies... ^^; But... *is in total candy heaven*

So there's another box? ninja I haven't seen it yet... Now you've got me paranoid though, trying to figure out what on earth you sent! I haven't bought any manga or books since you told me just in case. xd *laughs* I'd be glad to send you our next batch of cheesecake muffins if you send some of your roommate's food! *_* It sounds good! (Note: Any melting on the part of the cheesecake during shipping does not constitute refundable damage) ^_~ Maybe we should make them when you come up next time... they could be like wedding caviar or something (except, I so wanted cream puffs!) XD

Eh heh, I did get a little sunburned, but luckily we avoided the worst of it. We got the entire roof shingled in two days and the second day it clouded over. ^_^ Now we're back to cloudy, cold days. *sigh*

*finally stops writing and shingling houses and painting doors and gets around to responding* But GASP! No Eiffel Tower?! crying But okay, I can't really blame you... I'd be way too terrified to attempt to find my way to Paris and back if it was me. xd Seeing as how I don't speak a word of French...

I'm not entirely sure I believe the third hottest in the world thing either, but keep in mind, when I said it was like 99 in the shade, the actual temperature was 113 or something... It was pretty bad. @_@ At least it's over now. We've had pure clouds for the last 3 days straight, which is good, because otherwise we'd all be horribly sunburned right now, up on that hot roof. *shudder* (I would gladly have taken your temp of 103 that day! xd )

Thank you! Man, it takes so many votes on those stupid things! No wonder only really popular series-based profiles make it. All six profiles are finally gold, but out of 15 pages... they're on page 10. It's going to take multiple more votes to get them up. V_V *laughs* Almost 50k words worth of Leeayrian X fics! (Gah, have I really been that obsessed?) Anyway, aw you still have yet to get to the best parts! Subaru and Seishirou's first fight in book 8 and everyone dying in book 9! twisted Speaking of True Blood... Storm'sEye was all thrilled about that one the other day, and then when she got it in, she called back to say it wasn't what she expected and I wouldn't like it. *falls over* She suggested Kindred: The Embraced instead, which turned out to be really good, considering a few old cheesy graphics and the short length. Well, at least there's nothing like a good book! ^_^

Just one more day, and I'll be back Tuesday! heart

You're back? ninja So soon? *dazed* Woah, has it really been so long? xd Okay, that wasn't as bad as I thought... though I did think of you multiple times and examined the pretty pictures you sent me and oh, it's just so good to hear from you again! heart And arg, of course, I'm going to my Aunt's house next Tuesday through the Tuesday after, and I have no idea how long I'll have access to the net. I know she 'does' have internet access, but I don't think it's wireless, which means I can't access it on my computer and I'll have to share. crying (I'm supposed to update my story next week too... Yikes.) Oh, to be a free woman! gonk X/1999! *gasp* I never thought you'd read it! *awed* Though, if you've only read the first two books, you're missing all the really 'good' angst... twisted Wah! I can't wait to see what you think of Subaru and Seishirou once you get to them! (that's like, book 8... xd )

We definitely have to find time to IM though... I want to hear all about England! And the lights on the Tower! biggrin I just came back from spelunking, so of course I feel a bit like a duck when I walk now (the soreness has yet to completely go away)... And heh, I don't know about getting used to Seattle... we had record highs this last week. Seriously, there's a rumor that Wednesday we were the third hottest place in the world! O_O I don't know exactly what the temperature was, but it was registering 90 in the shade on our little home thermometer. *dies of heat exhaustion* 75 in England sounds pretty good about now... crying

Oh goodness... *laugh* You know if I'm doing a dozen profiles and writing a dozen fanfics for something, I'm serious... xd Thank you though. Four of the six profiles are light blue, and the last two are still green. I still need a lot of votes to get them past gold! *has never had a profile be accepted yet* I'm sort of excited, but I'm afraid they might have a way of knowing I've been the one voting on them all the time, so I think I should stop... >_>

Hee, yeah. Schnick found a (get this) spanish-speaking, yaoi-loving, role-playing community of X/1999 fans. xd I was talking to them for a bit, but I sort of stopped, because it was hard for them to translate. ^^; Anyway, X is more popular that DK, definitely, but since the last book came out so long ago, a lot of interest has actually faded. It's just 'too' angsty for some people! But then, with the reappearance of most of the characters in Tsubasa (two of them as vamps) some interest has been rekindled. ^_~

Augh... Mom dragged me into town for hours yesterday, and then on our way home we realized we'd forgotten about Institute class and ran to go to that, and by the time I got back it was midnight your time. @_@ So of course I'm here today (finally got fed up and kicked everyone else out so I could wait for you, mwuahaha!)... and today must have turned out to be a bad day for 'you'! xd We can't win for losing, can we?

Anyway, I'm sad to hear about Shoujo Beat! There were some really good ones in that! Not all of us want Shonen! ^_^

As for the package... oh my. Um, as long as the chocolate didn't melt out of its package and ruin your books, it's good! *panics* I knew I should have sealed the chocolate! Well, let me know how much of a mess it is, I guess. Tell me if anything got damaged! whee (That's the Japanese chocolate too! gonk )

Don't worry! *giggles* Last night turned out to be a pretty bad night for me too, what with mom's YCL sleepover. Ugh. (Talk about late notice, I was so afraid when I looked down and saw the time and realized we were still in town that you would be fed up with waiting by the time I got back, so I'm glad that wasn't the case...) I kept getting called to do other things, and the girls were noisy, and I couldn't concentrate anyway. ^_^ Hm, I can try tomorrow, but I might have a friend over... >_> He hasn't asked specifically, but he said he'd be back Thursday. I think that was a hint. v_v

Let me know at least when you get to England if you get a chance! biggrin So exciting! Of course, I'm sure you'll be way too busy sightseeing to talk much while you're over there, but let me know what's happening! whee (And I really hope you get the package before you leave!)

(Oh, while I'm here, I just have to rec an anime to you that I think you'll enjoy: Pandora Hearts. It's wonderfully dark and the plot is some mad twisted version of Alice in Wonderland and so much angst, yet it still possessives that element of comedy Schnick just can't live without! X3 Try it out sometime when you have nothing to do and are bored. *trying to convert as many people as possible^^*)
