Hi there, Aethelred here. To all of you wondering how to pronounce my name, it's "Eth-el-red." To all of you wondering what the heck that means, it's the name of a British king from medieval times. He was known as "Aethelred (sometimes spelled Ethelred) the Unready," because he had such bad governing skills.I hail from the eastern United States. I am 22 years old and am currently working on my own as an artist, having recently graduated from college with a Bachelors in Studio Art.

What I do: I have my own art studio at home. I usually spend the day doing oil painting, sketching, or drawing. I work on commissions as well as my own projects.
Hobbies: Currently I have been enjoying painting wooden jewelry boxes and listening to books on tape. I found a new love for Virginia Woolf (as ready by Phyllida Law). My favorite television shows are usually British miniseries that I check out from the library. I also like going to our local theater to watch plays. Window shopping at pet stores is a drain on my willpower....
