Blurbs

I am Ashton Jay Canlas, 24 years old. I am the male vox and lyrics mastermind of the Hard Rock/Alternative Metal/Gothic Rock outfit "Maiden's Fortress". Aside from which is my job as a technical support representative for a gaming console support line and a computer technician/computer shopkeeper/computer lessons tutor. I love listening to heavy metal, hard rock, alternative metal, political hardcore, gothic rock, gothic metal, symphonic black metal, and so much more. I just hate mainstream rock, emo-screamo, emocore, and rocktronica, though.

I seem a bit nerdy and out-of-this-world to most people, but behind that impression, your little friend here is a deep person who could be quite approachable most of the time.

Things you should know about me:

1. I don't eat any Milkfish dishes. Madalas ako matinik sa Bangus, at wala akong tiyagang maghimay.

2. Mahilig ako sa pet rodents, especially rabbits and Guinea Pigs. I just don't have any of those as of this moment because the grooming, food, and vitamins for those pets are quite costly.

3. Experimental ako magluto. I love adding something else to common dishes that I prepare, and I love making something mouthwatering out of every theme ingredient. Ever tasted Relyenong Ampalaya and Sisig na Sardinas?

4. I once went to school wearing a girl's uniform in protest against our student council head.

5. I played extreme sports, too. I was a skater and a rollerblader as well when I was a teener, but I stopped playing with those stuff after crashing into a trash bin and giving myself a good head knock.

5. I had to plunge into a dead creek before I learned how to ride (and drive) a bicycle.

6. I love making candle balls. There are even times when I buy a lot of candles just so I could melt them down and fuse each candle with the others.

7. I once wrote a song about the graduation season here in RP, but sadly, was not permitted to sing that song (and had my band play it as well) because the faculty members were trying to avoid nostalgia and any "dramatic crap" as much as they could.

8. Sticking to one's own words is one of my descriptive traits. I rarely go against the things that I say, and each time I do, I have a deep, quite enigmatic, but valid reason for doing so.

9. My favorite cartoon character is Bruce Wayne [Batman: The Animated Series] while my favorite anime character is Rei Ayanami [Neon Genesis Evangelion]

10. I'm pretty much into a lot of gothic stuff, and I am currently collecting some gothic attire pieces such as leather gloves, trench coats, goth boots, etc.
