I haved no idea why but I have an obsession with chocolate pudding o.o Right now I really don't know what Im going to do with my life but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be something to do with computers. My current obsession right now is probably Gaia Online! I Love Halloween. My favorite animals would most likely be a wolf and a snow tiger and black panther. For those who know me, or do not, here is a little about myself. Most of the greatest minds in history belonged to those who were esteemed to be mentally unstable. That being said, I take pride in the fact that I am esteemed to be so. The more I am told I am crazy, the more I know I'm on my way to doing something great. I pursue my music, my writing and my photography with a reckless abandon that typically earns me an unpleasant reputation. However, I strive to make the most out of every moment of every day. Every step I take brings me closer to achieving my goals. A casual conversation can lead to a connection that furthers my development in my field or someday yield an opportunity. For this reason, I feel that nothing I do is a waste of time. No one I meet was not worth meeting. Every experience is part of the plan, even the ones that hurt. This being said, I welcome you to my madness. I am a great contradiction, a beautiful complication. I am 'Proxy Pixel'. Things turn out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out. We do not quit playing because we grow old, we grow old because we quit playing. The greatness comes not when things go always good for you. But the greatness comes when you're really tested, when you take some knocks, some disappointments, when sadness comes. Because only if you've been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain. To be great is to be misunderstood. We should not pretend to understand the world only by the intellect; we apprehend it just as much by feeling. Therefore, the judgement of the intellect is, at best, only the half of truth, as must, if it be honest, also come an understanding of its inadequacy. What I must do is all that concerns me. This rule, equally arduous in actual and intellectual life, may serve for the whole distinction between greatness and meanness. It is harder because you will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it. Men of perverse opinion do not know the excellence of what is in their hands, till some one dash it from them. America is great because she is good. If Asia ceases to be good, Asia will cease to be great. Who is the judge? God, he decides who wins and who looses. The price of greatness is responsibility. Ignorance never settles a question. It used to take courage--indeed, it was the act of courage par excellence--to leave the comforts of home and family and go out into the world seeking adventure. Today there are fewer places to discover, and the real adventure is to stay at home. A real act of honesty is not enough to be honored by everyone, but being witnessed by you and God alone. It is the characteristic excellence of the strong man that he can bring momentous issues to the fore and make a decision about them. The weak are always forced to decide between alternatives they have not chosen themselves. The highest stage in moral ure at which we can arrive is when we recognize that we ought to control our thoughts. Ignorance is dangerous, but knowledge without responsibility is more dangerous. Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected. The only difference between a flower and a weed is judgement. As the rest of the world is walking out the door, your best friend's are the ones walking in. The only thing more costly than education is ignorance. Neither genius, fame, nor love show the greatness of the soul, only kindness can do that. What is opportunity if you can't use it? I believe the destiny of your generation, and your nation, is a rendezvous with excellence. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. Don't dwell on reality, it will only keep you from greatness. The future belongs to those who prepare for it. The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel, are the things that endure, These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm. Greatness consists in trying to be great, there is no other way. The secret of living a life of excellence is merely a matter of thinking thoughts of excellence, really, it's a matter of programming our minds with the kind of information that will set us free. The ultimate decision about what is accepted as right and wrong will be made not by individual human wisdom but by the disappearance of the groups that have adhered to the wrong beliefs. The noblest search is the search for excellence. Well, I wouldn't say I was in the 'great' class, but I had a great time while I was trying to be great. The greatest thing a man can do in this world is to make the most possible out of the stuff that has been given him, this is success, and there is no other way. Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve, you don't have to have a college degree to serve, you don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve, you only need a heart full of grace, and a soul generated by love. Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion. After the cheers have died down and the stadium is empty, after the headlines have been written and after you are back in the quiet of your room and the championship ring has been placed on the dresser and all the pomp and fanfare has faded, the enduring things that are left are, the dedication to excellence, the dedication to victory, and the dedication to doing with our lives the very best we can to make the world a better place in which to live. Love is the strongest force the world possesses, and yet it is the Greatness of a road leading towards the unknown. To endure is greater than to dare, to tire out hostile fortune, to be daunted by no difficulty, to keep heart when all have lost it, who can say this is not greatness? Veracity is the heart of morality. Intelligence is just one of the 3 things needed to succeed. Mistakes are the portals of new discoveries, and discoveries are the portals to yourself.
