I am the Last Quincy, despite what my son may say. It is something that I hoped, if ignored, would disappear.
The Quincy should have become extinct with my father, but it appears as though my strong-willed son has decided otherwise. Despite his class rank, Ishida Uryuu is a foolish boy. He lost his powers once and I helped him regain them under one condition: He was to never associate with Shinigami again. Despite keeping my end of the bargain, he has not. I certainly don't believe I was that foolhardy in my youth.
