Oh - a visitor! Well, hello there, looks like you stumbled upon my profile. At the very least, I'm a dedicated RPer here. Literate too, if I do say so myself. :] Things I love are originality and good story lines... But I tend to be quite fickle. Don't worry about it, because it's usually all my fault. I usually just post an intro in a forum and let people send me stuff... If I don't reply it's usually because I don't know how to respond, I have other RPs, or I'd prefer another setting/character. Or I'm just ridiculously lazy, as usual.
Moving on, the one thing that really stops me from hitting that 'reply' button is the Mary Sue. A curious creature that lurks in RP forums and fanfiction typed by hormonal preteen girls, the Mary Sue is a stunningly perfect and beautiful young woman who 1) Never gets injured if she's in a fight. 2) Has the body of a goddess and very little clothing to cover that up. 3) Has long, flowing hair of a strange and exotic color like... purple, though I've seen an increase in arse-length blond, and eyes to match. Usually the eyes are multicolored and show the depth of her angsty past whenever you happen to glance into them (and if you happen to be her love interest, that would be a lot). 4) Lacks any noteworthy flaws - except for perhaps extreme strength in a petite body, or extreme beauty - or personality in general. All she has to do is bat her eyelashes and the enemies fall like dominoes.
Another thing that will stop me from sending PMs back - illiteracy. Example:

Yes, I have had stuff like this sent to me. However, I'd like to think that most Gaians here have (at the very least) finished grade school. So please - put that education to good use.
Well, I hope you aren't too intimidated... But I do love to get a good story once in a while - who knows, you might actually provide me inspiration. So please, feel free to strike up a conversation or start a RP!
I'm a literate RPer also and I do the same; taking parts of an RP and pasting it in word to write a story.
I thought I was a little weird for doing it, but sometimes something so original or great pops up and its like I must save it for it might loose its awesomeness because I overlooked it as nothing more than a simple RP!
i like how you like original people. some people follow the crowd, but those who march to their own drum rock. and, the pic in your about me is really cool. i love it.
