He lays on the ground, with arms spread out and legs pulled together, crucified to the ground by imaginary nails. Ragged gasps of hot air filled his lungs as dialated pupils darted about the shadows around him. This world was dark and hateful and void of all life. The ground shook at his head and the over bearing presence of Him was there. He quickly glances as far back as his human flesh would let him. And his now frantic gaze stopped at the cloven hooves of Him; He who now stood above him. He quickly shut his eyes and filled his head with angels and clouds and rays of Holy light. And he heard Him say, "Child of flesh and bone, are you conscious or are you still dreaming of a better place?" he opened his eyes and for the first time took in the world around him, for the first time he could see. For the first time, the air he know breathed was not burning but cool and life giving. This world for him seemed to have changed with His word. He looked back to Him standing above. He no longer smelled of sulfur, no longer walked on cloven hooves; He now stood as a man and reached down to the now free man and said, "You shall now walk with me in this new world free of shackles or chains, let your desires and humanly passions lead your life."
