Hello and welcome to my profile.
My name is Katherine (Kathy for short) and if you're reading this, it must mean I caught your attention! (Yay! I'm interesting to someone!) I've been a Gaian for... how long? Must be around 5 years by now and I'm surprised at how much it has changed over time. I leave occasionally but, I always come back. Life calls ya' know?
Several general things to know about me first.
I have 18 years worth of life experience. I'm an American born Filipino (specifically a mix of Natives, Spanish, and Chinese) and typical brown eyes, dark hair person. I am, what many people and my self consider, short (5ft 2in).
Likes
I love animals. Mostly my cat and rabbit, but dogs are cool too. None of that small breed stuff though. I think they yap too much and they're too easy to get lost, stolen, run over, etc. Also... what can a tiny pooch do if I'm getting mugged? NOTHING. That's what.
Hah, anyway moving on, one of the many things I enjoy would be going out to eat. At this time, I'm really not into Italian food. I feel like it's...how do I say it... It's good sometimes but, I feel like people take advantage of the fact that it's one of the easiest foods to make so they mess it up somehow and I just don't enjoy eating it. Japanese food is ALWAYS awesome. Indian Curry is up on my top lists as well. I mostly eat Filipino food at home, so I don't see the point in going out to buy some (besides, no one can cook better than my Mom XD ).
I read for fun when I have the time but they're not really fantasy books or things with a plot. I like reading things that can teach me some kind of useful skill like, lock picking, helping me budget, things to look out for in the future, how to cook, and all that jazz. To me it's just more handy.
Dislikes
I don't like mean people that's for sure but, I might be a hypocrite in saying that because they are times when I get bitchy, but who doesn't? I try to be understanding and maybe think that the person is having a bad day, but there are also those few people that just don't 'click' with me and grate on my every nerve. I hope you're not one of them.
I hate mess. I try to keep things as clean as possible because it just makes my day go that much smoother. Not to mention that it just helps me calm down at the end of the day 'cause I don't have to worry about cleaning later.
