I have stocked up on provisions in the village below the mountain. I am finally prepared to leave. I took a final look at the mountain, uttering a promise. The promise that I will keep no matter the cost. As I leave I begin to hear more footsteps than my own. I decide not to turn and keep walking. By the sound of the footsteps i know it's a young man. He seemed to be gaining on me. I turn off course into the woods to see if he is trying to track me and as I suspected I can still hear his footsteps behind me. As soon as I make it to a clearing I turn around and give him a quick jab in the stomach. He was unprepared for the attack and doubled over in pain.
scream "Who are you and what do you want?" I asked.
" Ow! Nice punch, miss." the stranger replied.
"Answer me!" scream I snapped.
" Fine, fine! My names Kohaku and I wanted to know if you needed a travel companion."
question I just couldn't understand this guy! First, he follows me all the way out of town onto the trail. Then, he follows me off the trail into the woods. Now, he's asking me to be his travel companion. This is just to much! gonk
"What exactly can you do to aid me?" I asked as I glared at him. stare
"Hhhhmmmmm neutral How about some company and finance?"he replied, meeting my glare.
I considered what he said and thought it over. He seemed weak enough for me to take him on if he tries something and I really needed the money and extra help.So what could I lose? I agreed to let him travel with me and laid down the ground rules. He agreed without hesitation and we set off.
