I look at Amber. “What about Amber?” Amber look at me and got in my. Her teeth showing. “I told you I puffer Thorn! And I don’t wont to play with a bunch of bird brains, a stink shape shifter, a fish or a stupid dragon that doesn’t even know what the hell she is tell until 2 day ago! We shouldn’t be playing a little ball game. Were just wasting time!” And she stormed out, cussing under her breath. I look as she wake away, my face shocked.
Noai sighed. “She woke up from the wrong cat nap this morning.” “I herd that!” Thorn yelled. Her voice sound so curl.
Opmono’s came to my side. “Why don’t we be partners ok?” I titled my head. “We need parners?” He nodded “You see one person has to turn in to a Phoenix and the other get on. The soccer ball is thought in the middle of the arena and then it like soccer. You not aloud to hold it with you hands. And if you fall to the ground and hit the ground you and your partner is out of the game for a whole vires. Also the ball cant touch the ground ether or they have to restart the vires. That a whole part. There are 4 vires in the game. 5 if it a tie which is rare.” I nodded it made sans. He smild then. “Let’s go.”
This time I was paying attention. I never noised how a Phoenix changed. And now I was amazed. Black fire was sounding Opmono. Staring at his feet and then he was engulfed by it. All was left was a black bird the size of a horse.
Kaity did it so fast you could tell but the rest went as fast. You could see the flames unlike with Kaity. With Kaity it was out of thin air. Why did she do it so fast, so naturally?
It look like the falmes that sounding them before they changed depends on what collar fire they had. Opmono look at me and then got were I could clime on. I got on his back. His father were soft. Like being on a black cloud. He look at me with wounding eyes. “I’m read.” I assured him and he stared flapping his wing. Then flew off were are team was.
Some of the birds had the same feather but not a lot. Mine was on a bird with bright fathers like the sun. Noai was on the other side of the arena, on a dark purple bird. It was not hard to miss her. She had a huge grin on her face.
One person was at the bottom with a ball in her hand. “Ok now stars!” She thought the ball in the air and ever one went for it.
Mine got to it first and was hitting it with her head. She was heading for the opposite team goal. Then a boy on a bright green brid went up side down and got it. He was laughing.
“Ok Opmono I think I got it so let try.” He look back at me and nodded. Then zoomed at the boy. I studded up and almost felled but I got my balance. Opmono passed ever one. He was fast that it mad ever one look like little strings of collar. We were about the boy. “Are we aloud to jump on other brides?” I ask Opmono. He nodded. I grind “Good that make this easy.” I jumped on the other boy brid. He look at me wide eyed. “What the hell?” I grabbed the ball and winked at him. “Thanks.
I dent even think that I would do what I did. I jumped, back worse, off of the brides back. I flipped my self around so my feet was first. Opmono chough me. I stared laughing. “Man that was fun.” I look ahead. “Let go for the goal shale we Opmono?” It sounded rough and hard but it sound like a laugh that came from his chest. His wings stretched out and stared flaying harder. We were heading for the opposed ring. Ever one was trying to cached up but they coupled. It was fun being in the air. I would of like it better if I could be flying but I could. I thought the ball at the ring.
The golly could get it in time and it hit the wall. Ever one was ether sighing in defeat are cheering in the votary.
I was jumping up and down enjoying the moment. Then my foot slipped. Opmono dent noses until I was coleus to the ground. He was flying towers me but it was to late. My back was sting already getting my wing read. And then my body was temping in the pain.
