Dreamers
The land was cold and moist...The wind whistled through the world....This is the Dreaming Era. The world is now full of Dreamers. Tomoko walked past the deserted town. This time was called "Sleeping." This is when nothing is outside. The people are inside and everything is quiet and silent. There is a different time for "sleeping" in every town.
"Boy, it sure is silent. Must be Sleeping time." mumbled Tomoko as she swiftly walked. Suddenly, something ran into her.
"OUCH!" shouted the stranger.
"....What are you doing? And who are you..?" said Tomoko.
"I should ask you that! You shouldn't be running into people!" yelled the stranger. It was awfully strange to see someone who wasn't a traveller and yet not in Sleeping time.
"...You bumped into me first! Well anyway, seems like you have a bounty on your head." smirked Tomoko.
"WHAT?! You must be talking about the wrong person!" yelled the stranger. "I'm just a normal person!"
"Oh yeah? Well why does this wanted poster have your NAME and FACE on it..?" smiled Tomoko.
"Uh...umm...Can I go now?" pleaded Vivi.
"Let's see...You're wanted for eat-and-run and...." said Tomoko."Why were you stealing?"
"Uh...I was doing it for the sake of the world?" uttered Vivi.
"I think you can make up for my dinner today...Let's see, 200 coins." grinned Tomoko.
"Oh no! I'm not that good! Don't turn me in!" pleaded Vivi.
"Well, first we are going to eat..." motioned Tomoko.
Suddenly, the lights flashed. The lights gleamed through windows and into the sky. Sleeping time was over. The doors swung open. Chatting and laughter filled the town. Gossiping was heard. Fights occured. This town was Wrestle Town, known for it's fights and arguements. Tomoko grabbed Vivi and ran into a cafe. She wanted to avoid fights. She motioned to a waitress and sat down on a chair with Vivi.
"Order anything." Tomoko said.
"Even lobster and steak?" drooled Vivi.
"Sure. Unless you're brave enough to, because I'll give you to the police station." smiled Tomoko.
They ordered and slowly ate. The silence was strange. Vivi was the first to break this silence.
"So....What are you going to become?"asked Vivi."A Rager? A police officer?"
"I'm going to become a Dreamer." Tomoko said with no emotion or thought.
"Seriously?! That's like being a thief! Or even worst!" Vivi exclaimed.
"Mhm." Tomoko said as she was chewing.
"You do know that Ragers will hunt you, right?" whispered Vivi.
"Yeah...I heard this town has Ragers!" grinned Tomoko.
"?! WHAT?! Omigosh!" shouted Vivi. Vivi looked like a fool because she shouted.
"Yeah, I heard "Rager Rick Ranger" is in charge of this town." said Tomoko. After the people heard Tomoko say that, they screamed and ran out the door.
"...Did you cause a riot or what?" laughed Vivi.
"Uh, I think we got us into a bit of trouble." said Tomoko.
The man named "Rager Rick Ranger" kicked the door open and sat down on one of the bar stools.
"Hey, gimme some beer, will ya'?" he ordered. He chatted with his servants and scared the wits outta the bartender.
"So, tell me why you think Dreamers are dangerous, Vivi. And be quiet." she motioned.
"Well, first of all, they destroy Clocks. Clocks are the evil thoughts that remain in dreams. Dreams are created in Sleeping time. But the corrupted governments or Dapters created a law. This law stated that it was illegal to destroy Clocks. Clocks can capture or contain their host. Their host creates dreams, and if they are evil, or is infected by evilness, they might see a Clock in their dreams. If their will and heart is weak, the Clocks could take over their body and yet, cause lots of trouble. They consume everything in sight. First they consume their host's body, and then goes onto another host." explained Vivi.
"Well, it seems like you know lots about Clocks and Dreamers!" said Tomoko. Suddenly, Rager Rick Ranger got up from his stool and walked to Tomoko and Vivi's table.
"Hello my little lambs...Mind if I join in your conversation..?" he smirked. Tomoko glared at him and motioned Vivi and run.
"Ah, no. You can't escape. My guards are around this whole shop. So, I heard you wanted to be a Dreamer, little lady..." he stared.
"Yes, and it's none of your business." she stared back.
"Oi oi....Tomoko's such an idiot...She's digging her own grave! Gosh, I better get out of here..." thought Vivi.
Suddenly...Someone tripped and fell into the entrance of the shop.
