The sun sets, The moon rises, The stars twinkle and fade...
So....
I guess I start here. We've been together for 7 years by next month. And why? Right before my very eyes we're crumbling into dust. We will be nothing if this continues.
I know you have none else to take your troubles out on, but is that my fault, really? Why can't you make friends? Why is it that you seemingly CLING to me, & hold on for dear life? As if I would drop you, I won't let you fall... When will you realize it is always ME there for you?
You say you have no one, well did you ever think about ME. Did you ever think about how you had my full attention always? Did you ever think about all the times I ditched my friends for you? {Now I have maybe 1 true friend to lean on} Did you ever think about how I do everything you ever ask me to do for you, & expect nothing in return. How I ask for nothing & I receive it in abundance... It hurts me.
I can remember a time when my life was rose-tinted... I called you "My King"... When I heard your voice it was like a trance. I would be ready & waiting to please you in even the smallest ways. No man can make me do the things I do for YOU. I almost worshipped you. You meant that much to me.
Now I can't even believe that.
Now, I'm just numb to you. I do the things you ask of me just so that you won't b***h at me. I never call you a King... When I hear your voice it is like a whining child, bitching & complaining because you cannot have your way. Now, I just compromise with you on everything... Leads to less fighting when you get what YOU want. You know it's true... You know it's time to grow up, baby.
Don't throw this away. Think about how much I really do love you. Seven years is a long time of life to waste. I know you have a lot of stress with work right now. You have a lot of stress with me, but I know you love me & I understand that you don't mean to hurt me. I know it's hard for you right now. But I want you to really think about your priorities in life right now, & decide how much they all mean to you, & how your going to make time for all of them.
