Welcome (Indiana Jones Style).
So I just got done exchanging PM's with some 12 year old (Levi_1995). He noticed my profile picture and remarked that I was too old to be playing Gaia Online. In addition, the little a*****e intimated that I do not have a fulfilling life.

Ordinarily I don't feel inclined to defend myself against such wanton insensitivity and ignorance; however, in this case, I believe a response is not only warranted, but is, perhaps, necessary.

Levi_1995: I know that from your egocentric point of view and your middle school mentality, it might seem strange that someone of my advanced years would find enjoyment in a game like Gaia Online. It's difficult for someone of your limited brain development to grasp that different people have different means of expressing themselves and that we are all free to enjoy life in any way we see fit. It saddens me that a 12 year old would view his activities as so inane and ridiculous, that an adult could not possibly enjoy them.

Believe it or not Levi_1995, (and I guarantee you will soon learn this) there is not much more exciting than the summers of our youth. If I could return to 8th grade, and do it all over again, I would. The lack of responsibility and the knowledge that someone else will take care of you, no matter what, is an easy burden to bear.

I digress.

Levi_1995, this game may be designed for 12 year olds and I might be "too old" to enjoy it, but god damn if I haven't enjoyed every minute I've encountered the strange and unusual people who frequent the chat areas and gaming rooms. Levi_1995, there is more to life than judging other people's motives. Perhaps you should have first asked why I use Gaia Online. Perhaps you should have wondered why a person of my advanced years would continue to exchange PM's with an obnoxious, pretentious, arrogant, little s**t. You should have asked, Why?

Instead of conveying your superiority and expressing that my life must certainly be useless, you could have wondered at my intentions.

My intentions are simple: To have fun. I like doing stupid little puzzles and I like talking to my friends.

But in response to your earlier statement which I will paraphrase: "I better leave you alone because you're obviously really cool playing this game".

Yes I am cool. Levi_1995, it might surprise you that Gaia Online is not what I do all day. What I do is work. I work for real money, not golden tokens. When I come home from work, I want to work out, cook dinner, walk my dog and yes, I might just want to peruse this website and I might just want to chat with some friends who live very far from me.

But Levi_1995, thank you for your interest. And ******** off. Hopefully you will learn someday, that your own self worth, is only determined by you. And who we are, and what we are, and what we do, is entirely our business.

Thank you for telling me that I can't enjoy something that you enjoy just because your voice hasn't changed and I have gotten into a woman's pants (thousands of times I might add).

Good day.
