Today I scammed a scammer.
A friend of mine gave me some of his old items, including a lunar cloak which I put in my store.
Soon after that I got an e-mail from a guy telling me he would trade one of his rare items for my lunar cloak. He claimed this was because he was leaving Gaia, and rather than give his items away he was trading them for items of less value.
The catch was that all his items were in gift boxes, supposedly because he wanted to reward "trusting people."
So I told him I would trade with him. I boxed up my items and completed the trade. But when I got his item, all that was inside the box was a dirty newspaper combover. Well, I hope he enjoys the baggy t-shirt I traded instead of my lunar cloak, before the Gaia cops come for him. rofl
