I recently imported some games using play-asia, so here are some quickie reviews.
Rhythm Tengoku: I remember reading about this game on IGN a while ago, and I finally got it. It definitely has a WarioWare style feel to it, and that's a good thing for me. Some of the stages are hit and miss, but the most fun in my opinion are the remix levels. Replay value comes in the form of extras and attempting "perfects."
Ouendan 1&2: I liked Elite Beat Agents just fine, but I wanted to see what the Japanese version was like. The songs have an annoying habit of growing on you, and most of the time I found myself enjoying them more that the EBA songs. Gameplay is pretty much identical, but #1 is a bit aggravating not being able to skip the song intro. At least they learned for EBA and Ouendan 2.
I think that the Ouendan/EBA series would be good for a Wii rhythm game. I mean there is the new DDR and Boogie, but I'm kinda iffy regarding the latter after seeing the new art direction.
