Today's topic is as wide, varied, and many-layered as...an onion, to pull a little metaphor from my friend Shrek. Friends is the topic of the day.

I realized I would die without my friends. Not literally, I wouldn't like, spontaneously combust or something, but I wouldn't be me. I'd be like, dead to the world. It'd be like, hello Zoe, oh, no one's home.
Reasons I need you guys;
1. I need my friends in order to feel needed. It sounds dopey, and a little pathetic, but everyone needs to feel needed. And if I can find some way of helping my friends, or even if I can just make them laugh, it makes me feel good, like I've done something worthy of being proud of.
2. I need them to help ME. Goodness knows I'M screwed up! xd Say I'm having an issue in my relationship with someone, and my parents just don't get it, and my significant other is halfway across the world or has her own stuff to deal with, I know exactly where to look for advice. And it's great, cause if one friend isn't quite the right person, I know there's always gonna be at least one of them who I can get some help from.
3. They're FUNNY. You guys provide my amusement.
4. You teach me stuff. About people, about laughing at life, about different kinds of animals or music or books, about dealing with school, or relationships, or other friends, about expressing yourself. It's like having a dictionary of just plain STUFF to learn that lives a few blocks away.
5. They SING. They DANCE. They WRITE and POETINIZE and PERFORM!!! I have a live theatre production, suited to my own tastes!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin
6. They keep me from turning into one of those insanely bizarre, lonely old hermit people.

And a gazillion other normal, human reasons, and a few not so normal ones.
The point of the story is, if you ditch me, I'll kill you.
Just kidding.
But I WILL hunt you down. xd Luv you guys!!!
