Yeah, definitely need a title still. I've been writing a bit, but this addition will be shorter than the last one. Sorry ~~~ "Then we'll go tomorrow. You need your rest, after all, and you'll have a little packing to do, which I'll help with," he told me, happy that I agreed to the journey. I don't even remember what happened next. I must've fallen asleep or something. Heh, me, falling asleep? Like that would ever happen. I mean, sure, I fell asleep in my classes way back when, but who didn't? Anyway, back to the story before any more tangents come.
In the morning, after I woke up and had breakfast, Larion helped me pack some things I'd need for visiting his parents. He had told me to pack as lightly as possible. When my bag was full, he took my hand and pulled me closely.
"Just hold on tightly, Nysa. This may be a shock for you at first," he whispered to me. I nodded slowly and wrapped my arms around him tightly. Seconds later, a strong feeling of being tugged away came and went quickly. The next thing I saw was a gorgeous forest, and we were in the center. He held onto me for a few minutes, making sure I had my balance.
"Wow, this is beautiful," I said in amazement, looking around the forest.
"This isn't even my home yet. We have a short way to walk," he told me, smiling happily. "Though living in a city would cause that reaction."
"Well, duh! It's incredibly easy to get me amazed!" I looked up at him, smiling brightly. "Thank you..." I softly kissed him on the cheek before letting my eyes wander once more. He led me down a path, his arm wrapped around my waist. I couldn't wait to see him home, which was bound to be astonishing. He pulled back a line of weeping willow branches, which happens to be among my favorite trees.
I couldn't help but gasp. It was gorgeous! There were cherry blossom trees everywhere, along with every other type of my favorite trees. There were even more weeping willows, meaning secluded places galore. I definitely made a note of those as he led me towards his house.
"Now this'll be the biggest shock yet," he whispered into my ear, grinning. He led me around another large weeping willow. I gasped once again. Here I am, expecting to see itty bitty fairies floating around flowers, but it was nothing like that. It was like a mansion, a palace even. It was astonishing, and I couldn't tear my gaze away from it. "I take it you like it. Most people would be amazed, since it's nothing like those stories little kids are told," he said, leading me up to the door. As soon as he knocked, a woman answered the door.
"Larion! You're home! This is a magnificent surprise! Who is this beauty?" she asked, eyeing me. In my shyness (yes, I do have my moments), I lowered my eyes, holding onto Larion's hand tightly.
"Mom, this is Nysa Le. You know...Lenora and Arthian's daughter?" he said motioning towards me.
"Nysa?! I never thought she would be much older than 100!" She stepped towards me and gently lifted my chin. "She has her mother's eyes, but her father's hair color. Otherwise, everyone else would think you were her." Tears started to well up in my eyes as I stared into her bright silver ones.
"Mom, can we take this inside?" Larion asked softly, gently squeezing my hand. She nodded, leading us inside and closing the door behind us. This was the first time I saw her wings. They were a brilliant white, feathered as I had imagined. They were, in one word, marvelous. I continued to stare at them as she led us into their living room.
"I'll go get your father while you two relax," she told us before walking out of the room. ~~~ As I said, it's untitled, and shorter than the last one. I'll try updating it soon, but I'm rather busy now.
