Before you go and make fun of me you have to look at it from the view of the plot and not the setting. So, let's see what you think. This idea is for my fanfiction for Pokemon. It centers around a boy that is twelve(ehrn the story begins at least).

When Ein's father left him on a trip to other regions to research the ruins with the Unown symbols on them seven years ago Ein is left behind with anger and a Shiny Magickarp named Marin. The story begins with him following the directions on a letter his father sent him. Originally Ein intended to do as the letter said, because he wanted to do the puzzl. Upon the puzzle's completion Ein ends up capturing an Unown (I haven't decided what shape yet.). Whenever Ein tried to release it the Unown attacks him mentally and when tried to be placed in a PC he is unable to send it. So, now Ein sets off on a journey to find his father and rid him of this pest(that he namd Zarbi). Along the way he learns more about the Unown and legendary Pokémon. As he pieces it together he begins to develop two different connections between Pokémon. the four are Celebi and Dialga and Giratina and Unown.
