ha-loo i 4got the names of the other characters but i've looked it up in wikipedia.org....ok :

Main Characters:
-Danny Zuko: the guy who luvs Sandy
-Sandy Olsson: the girl who luvs Danny

Sub-Characters (or the....(dramatic pause) "others" wink :

-Frenchy: member of the school's gang, the "Pink Ladies" and friend of Sandy when she goes to a new school (which is also where Danny goes to)

-T-Birds: the school's boy gang ,Danny is leader

-Patty Simcox: preppy school spirit girl who encourages Sandy to join cheer squad

-Rizzy: Annoyed teenager because of Sandy's "goody-two-shoes behavior"
(and REbecca I wanna be Frenchy now...)

-Jan & Marty: probably some other members of "Pink Ladies" who Frenchy tells them that she's dropping out of school...

-Kenickie: probably member of "T-Birds" and flirts with Rizzy

-Leo: leader of Scorpion's, a rival gang, who jacks up Kenickie's car

-Tom Chisum: jock, Sandy is dating for awhile

-Cha-Cha DeGregorio: Leo's girlfriend, also ex-girlfriend of Danny
