It rains constantly and I cannot take a picture of the rain. But why rain? A metaphor to me and possibly others of the like mind. You can go into scientific terms. But to me the rain is gods’ tears. Can we honestly say that he is all knowing? People question religion constantly with our many deities. Even simple drugs are the thing we worship more than our god, the rain is his tear. He may be god but he may not be as perfect as we think him to be. As soon as Adam bit into that apple his plans for humanity went awry. You have his followers going to Egypt being slaves all the way to wars being fought over things that are so trivial. One could think that after Jesus was being killed he just couldn’t try anymore, but one never knows. Nowadays when you read a bible you can compare it to now and there’s no such thing as a sea parting for a person or a tornado of flame just manifesting itself. No rain of frogs or total blackness. No blood red river or anything of that sort. Maybe his power has waned since his believers aren’t as potent believers as they used to be. One can say that it’s a “miracle” that a woman can overpower the man that was raping her when you can look at it and say “its not a miracle its her own determination to stop her rape and her own will that said “no” and allowed her to fight back” These days no one looks to god, no one bothers to know him in a intimate level as they did back then. God is being forgotten a little more each day that’s why he cries, that’s why it rains. His place being taken by other idols of our sins. And when he looks down from the heavens he cries, each rain drop a tear, each thundering boom a sob that escapes his lips. A tear for what we humans have done. A tear for each action that he cannot control. Each thunderclap louder than the last for his crying and sobbing gets worse and worse for we have forgotten his face. Each rainstorm is god crying, crying for what he has lost…his children.
