Chapter 1: A Child
(Note: All sp errors will be corrected later)

It was a dark gruesome night, lightning broke the dark solid glass that was the sky, rain as the pattern on it's cracked surface, and the sound of thunder broke the sound barrier as each figment of the glass was cracked. A dark castle looms the sky, making an appearance as the thunder gives light. Though usaully, in the darkness, even the small light of a candle would be visible in one of the small window at the very top where a tower is located.

Not tonight.

As the lightning flashes again, there is a petite body running from the castle, running into the tall and wide forest, where many swamps and deadly creatures were said to wander.A dangerous forest where day time would be almost nonexsistent in it's dark depths.
The thin figure had a cloak covering head and body, casting a shadow across the figures face. The figure was holding something bundled close to it's chest in a dark colored cloth. It looked quite ovious that they were running from something or someone.
Whatever it was running from, he or she made it into the forest, the Forest of Shadows.

"Sir! Sir!"
A young looking goblin stormed into a huge room full of books, looking like a library. Anyone watching him come through would wonder how'd he move the twelve and a half foot tall marble door he had to open to get in the room.

"Sir Devante!" he yelled as he rab up to someone, looking as he was calmly reading a book of some sort.
Whatever he was reading, he put it down with a sigh and turned his attention to the three foot goblin speaking to him.

"What is it, Gublo?" he asked calmly, with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

The goblin, who now we can call him Gublo, was catching his breath. Sir Devante coughed unpatiently to get his attention. Gublos head shot straight upas he exclaimed,

"The Princess has run off!"

Devante slammed his fisted hand on the table, cracking the wood it was made out of.

"What!? How could you let her escape!?"

Gublo was shaking in fear, afraid to speak, but the glare his master sent him said there would be hell to pay if someone didn't explain what was going on.

"Well!?"

"Y-you see sir, I-I wasn't the one in charge with guarding her by the way, erm...."

Devante quickly grabbed the hem to Gublos robe and rose him to eye level.

"Get the guards, do anything to get her back, anything, but bring her back alive. Understood?!?

Gublo nodded and Devante glared at him with his red eyes, any white that should have been showing in his eyes was pitch black, before letting the poor guy go. Gublo quickly ran out of his sight.
Devante sighed. ' This is getting old, that woman, one of these days, she'll pay, but not untill....'

Someone else barged into the room, a bunny-like creature with a pointy hat and robes oviously too big for him, he ran towards his lord.

"Sir Devan - Oof!!"

The creature tripped from stumbling on his robe.

"Dammit, what is it n-"

"The child's gone!" the creature popped up suddenly.

Devantes stared at the creature wide-eyed and out of his seat.

"How...."

The creature got back on his feet and took out a chart from his robe and exclaimed...

"The room exploded seemingly, the ceiling's blow off, and the damage is supposely external, which means.."

"I know what it means! Get the hell out of here and tell everyone to go out there and find the Princess dammit!"

The creature was shaking and hiding behind his chart.

"Y-Yes sir!!"

And with that, the hunt was on.

She had to escape from there, and this was the perfect time to do it, at night, with it raining down as heavy as it was, it was now or never. She didn't care where she was going, all that mattered was to get away from that wretched place.

She kept on stumbling on the muddy roots of tree and the swampy puddles scattered all over the place. She never double took how tall the trees were or how barren they were. She never looked behind to see if anyone followed her trial. And she never slowed down her pace.
