I had so much fun at Otakon! I'm happy to say that this was my first Convention, and it rocked!!!

I went to the GaiaOnline panel on Friday. Everyone was so cool and funny! I can't remember all the admins names (I'm so bad with names!) but the Duck Guy was funny. DJ-What's-His-Name was really hyper, too. Lanzer and Kiki-Kitty Lady and CP were awesome and totally knowlegable about the site.

I went to some Seiyuu panels (Japanese voice actors) that were fun. Some of them only spoke Japanese, so they had translators.

My favorite part of my trip was getting to meet Vic Mignognaand Aaron Dismuke!!! OMG, OMG, OMG! whee They both autographed a picture of Ed and Al Elric for me. I noticed that Aaron is left-handed. Then I went to the Elric Brothers Q & A panel. (You can watch it on YouTube or some other site.) That's when I noticed that Aaron is taller than Vic! whee I took so many pictures of them. I'll try to post them later if my computer behaves. Then Caitlin Glass showed up. Everyone was all, like, "It's Winry, it's Winry! OMG!" I don't see what's so great about her. (dreamy voice) Not when there's Vic and Aaron sitting there ... (fangirl scream of joy)

I went to the Otaku-rave. So much techno! I loved it! I danced for close to two hours, and my feet hurt so bad that I couldn't walk without pain. crying A word of caution to ya'll--If you're going out dancing, be sure to set limits on yourself. Or you'll be sorry later. Anyway, I danced up a storm and had fun.

I saw Eminence perform live. They are incredible! (You can probably see their performance online, too.) They played lots of songs from their CD, Passion. They also played anime and game songs. And they played Mario theme-songs, too! They are awe-inspiring.

I bought some Fullmetal Alchemist merchandise in the Dealer's Room. I bought: two wall hangings, an FMA pocket watch, and a sticky poster. Some other things I got were a Chinese(?) style dress and matching shoes, an Eminence CD, an Eminence t-shirt, and the Outlaw Star DVD collection. (That series is classic.)
I took so many pictures of cosplayers! I'll try to display them sometime later. Beware, they're almost all Fullmetal Alchemist or .hack cosplayers. biggrin

I loved Otakon, even if it was a little hectic. I plan on returning next year if I'm able.
