As then men left, Riza’s gaze went to Leon. It wasn’t a glare, but it showed her hate.
Leon could see her look, “Go ahead Hawkeye. Look at me like that. When I become the leader of the country, I’ll see you on the streets.” Hawkeye sat in her seat, she was like a beaten dog. Broken. Old. Tame, obedient. Jean and the others spirits went down. Why was the flame dead? Why?
This disgusted Victoria out of it all. When she knew Hawkeye, in Ishval, she wasn’t like this. It was revolting how this man treated her. She watched the man, he turned around and it looked like he was staring straight at her. A grin on his face, it was as if he knew they were there. Had he found the tap and traced it to them? She set down the binoculars.
“Kimiko, can you make me another sandwich...please?” she said.
Kimiko could see her sadness, she nodded, “We’re out of bread, So I’ll have to go out shopping.”
Victoria nodded, and then moved herself from the chair to her bed. She put the covers over her and starred at the wall.
Leon knew they were, he did exactly what Victoria thought. Found the tap and traced it to them. “Captain, Go be useful and get me an apple from the market.”
Hawkeye nodded, and scooted out of the chair, and proceeded out of the room.
Kimiko handed the money to the baker with a smile, “Thank you miss.” She said taking the bread and left. As she left she held the bag of bread in hand. She stood in the market, when a person caught her eye. The Captain! She was buying apples from what it appeared…Teacher deserved more then sandwiches anyways. She quickly went to the stand, standing right next to the solider. She took a deep breath. “Don’t let scum bring you down.” She said audible enough for Riza to her, but no one else. That was a quote Victoria always said to her, maybe it would work for her. She handed the money to the Clerk and smiled. “Thank you miss.” She said, placing the two apples in the bag with the bread. Her light green eye met with Riza’s as she turned and left.
Riza starred at the girl, watching her leave. Her fists clenched at side.
Leon smirked, biting of the the apple. He thought over his plans. He would have to open the gate again and read the Rocketry plans, and then. He would have them and use them obviously to further his plans in making the country ‘greater’. With Huckisson’s uranium bomb, then it would be perfect. Any who oppose him would get…well lets just say, meet his meet his many friends. As he finished his own paperwork for some of his ‘Friends’.
“Hawkeye, give these files to The Wind Alchemist, dark alchemist, Earth alchemist, Dragon alchemist and the Firework Alchemist.” He said, pushing the files at the end of the table of Hawkeye to grab.
