im exusated..
i just got back from kentucky..im sooooo tired. ive been building(actually) demolshing homes in Neon with different church congergatios. Ive worked over 40 hours this week at least..but i made lots of cool new friends and i SQUARE DANCED!! Surprisingly enough..it was fun!

after being in kentucky, i realized how lucky we are, because the people in the little town of neon didn't have ANYTHING. the homes were run down and torn. the house we were basicly picking up had been abandoed for 15 years before it was smashed down by a bacco last week..we found clothing, shoes, two tolites, a tub, a sink, pipes, a record player, tv, records..and a lot more stuff. It makes me relaize how privilaged we are,...because the guy next door to the house was taken stuff from the pile that could be still usable..
Just think about it, some people there had no running water, electricty, and food and jobs were sometimes scarce. Just think how lucky many of us are..just a little thought, thats all..

Oooh Kentucky, I've always wanted to go there for some reason when I was a little tyke.
Mostly because I loved horses. xD

Yeah, actually, surprisingly, I lived kind of like that when I was little- before I moved to America. I lived in a small apartment with my mother and father, we were very poor, so my father worked the second shift and my mother worked overtime. I was usually left alone either in the house or on the streets. My father would sometimes lock me out of the house for about a 24 hour minimum, and a 1 week maximum. I'd rather not say why he did, but let's just say...he usually got frustrated with me and had a few problems with me and my "mental health". I was almost always on the streets, left with barely any food, water, clothing, anything. I tried to beg, worked a few times. I played my mini guitar in hopes of getting some change for bread down at the bakery. Worked a few times, too. But hey, I'm just sort of glad things turned out better for me...but you are right there, some people have life way, waaaay way way worse than we do. And we are damned lucky we aren't homeless, sleeping on the streets.

<3Just a little love from Schiko. xD I'm bored. Dx REEDIN UR JURRNLZ LOL.
