I just saw Hairspray, and I was WAY surprised! It was really good! It was one of those fun, vibrant films that make you want to pop up and start dancing. I really liked all of the characters, and I thought that John Travolta and Amanda Bynes were really funny in their roles....one of my favorite lines was from Queen Latifah. She was at a black dance spot, and Tracy and two other white kids come to dance with them. Then Tracy's mom comes in, looking for Tracy, and you just see Queen Latifah's character going, "Heck, if we get any more white people in here it's gonna be a suburb." It was a good line.....
The costumes were really fun to look at.....the colors and styles of the sixties are so awesome! And you know, I have to say, I'd never seen Zac Efron (I don't know how you spell his name) in anything before, but I don't know why you guys don't like him, I thought he was really good.
Anyways, it was a really cool movie, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. You people should see it!
