God, I just can't keep up. So much stuff keeps happening before I get the chance to fully process what came before.
Man, the Mullanator is leaving... now, this alone is ginormous. I mean, first there is the question of whether or not all the people who said they were quitting band, will actually follow through. I believe, though am not sure, that the majority of those people who are leaving, just didn't like Ms. Mullan. So, now that she's going, will they be staying?
Then there is the question of who is going to take over, if anyone will.... Rumors are flying high and fast. Some say that the main reason Ms. Mullan made the decision so easily was because they are planning on closing down the band section of the music department. Now, I do believe that this rumor can just be thrown out the window. If they were to close down the band section, they'd start with the little kids.
Mr. Smith did apply for the position, though, there are reasons why he would or wouldn't get the job. He may get the job because our school is making cuts and they'd be too stingey to hire a new faculty member. However, if he were to get the job, we'd be short a band/music teacher for the school district and they'd have to cut out some things.
So yeah, I really have no idea what's going on there.. and it drives me crazy being so in the dark but what with the countless rumors afly, it's hard to know what to believe.
Yesterday, after school, I spent the majority of my time writing a stupid 4 page report on dream analysis and listening to Josh Groban. I think I have, "When you say you Love me" memorized. It's official, Josh Groban is the epitomy of beauty. Beautiful voice, beautiful face... *sigh* beautiful.
The day before, Bridget and I had one of our lovely phone conversations and she half forced me to talk to a certain somebody online. I sounded like a complete idiot, but *shrugs* I dunno.. I guess it wasn't that bad. I managed a smile at him just today, but I really haven't been able to say much. I don't know if me asking him about Japanese homework can count as a conversation, but... *le sigh*
...I hope he stays in band...
But yeah, that's all I feel like typing so good riddence! xd
