Full references guide for Rachael's Journal/Diary (revision)
::References to Sonic and other characters of that sort are (c) of Sega and Sonic Team. All other referenced characters such as myself are (c) of Yoshimi.S.::
This is the reference guide for my Journal/Dairy (A much better one that is). It contains all the data on key events, special items, major characters, locations, factions, and anything of interest. This a guide for those who need assistance in knowing what I am referring to in my Journal/Diary.
Factions: This list is of the major factions listed or talked about in my logs. Factions contain an assortment of people who have played a certain or play a role within the current timeframe.
1. Freedom Fighters: A special group of Mobians, lead by the fastest thing alive (Sonic) and the spunky Princess Sally. The group consisted of a varied collection of Mobians seeking to do what they can to free their home from the devious usurping b*****d Dr. Robotnik. The group contains a wily fox known as Tails, A partially roboticized Bunny Rabbot, Royal Guard member Antoine, and Rotor Walrus. Each member played a vital role in the fight to save Mobius. They succeeded in their goal and saved the entire world during the Doomsday Project. The group is still in action, making sure that peace is maintained (even though the Royal Guard is the main force of the planet).
2. Royal Guard: The sole force of the planet and Accorn empire. They are an elite army of soldiers trained to the highest degree, defending Mobius from all threats with their lives. Many willing Mobians sign up to became a guard member, but only those with the right stuff make the cut. Those elite few are regarded by all members of society as their protectors. My mother and father were members of the Royal Guard, I would have taken a position among the ranks, but I didn't get the chance to do so. Someday, I may take the plunge and become part of a legacy....someday...
3. Accorn Empire: The commanding force of Mobius. The Accorn family see to it that all is well on Mobius. Their peaceful rule has made all things on Mobius pleasant and safe, tyranny and strife are non-existent and everyone is at peace with on another. Currently, Princess Sally oversees everything (according to my knowledge). The Accorn Empire has maintained its rule over Mobius, and plans to stay that way for a long time.
3. The Robotnik Empire: The insidious humanoid known only as Dr. Ivo Robotnik, once the temporary ruler of Mobius, is an disturbing face of evil that seeks to take over any world that he can reach. His power to cripple other Empires with his mighty weapons and army of mechanical soldiers (SWAT bots) is well known (now that is). It is not certain as to why or how he found this world, but somehow he stumbled upon it. He was defeated and plunged into exile (although his fate is not known for sure). Hopefully he has disappeared in the abyss of the stars...
4. United Earth Defense Force: On the planet Earth, a faction much like the Royal Guard exists. The U.E.D is a militant force that protects Earth from all outside threats. Their mission is to maintain peace across the once torn world. Once, this organization was corrupted by power struggles and turmoil among the ranks. They used their granted authority to police everyone, limit what technology is available to the public, and created more chaos than they could handle. The slate has been wiped clean, and the U.E.D is now a refined unit of the Planetary Defense Force and Earth Government. They are responsible for handing out my I.D cards.
5-6. Planetary Defense Force: Human/Mobian division: This the Earth Government's police force. They maintain the peace on Earth and Genesis, protecting the citizens of Earth from troublemakers and lawbreaking members of society. The Human division manages the laws set up by the government, enforces them, and arrests those who refuse to abide by the law. The Mobian division protect all visitors from Mobius and residents who have obtained housing for themselves. The U.E.D and P.D.F are a part of the Earth Government, giving them equal power among each other.

Key Events: These are events that have changed my life (and many others) over the years. I have been involved in many different events, some of them were not pleasant. Here is what those events are and what happened during those times.
1. Chance encounter with Michael: When I first met the yellow hedgehog, I was a tad shy and didn't know how to express myself in the way I wanted to. Somehow, I worked up the courage to say something and before I knew it, we became close friends. Ever since that fateful day, I have remained by his side as a friend and companion.
2. The Invasion: When the doctor first swooped over Mobotropolis, I didn't know what to make of it...until I saw the capital being struck by weapons fire. The onslaught of panic and chaos had me running for cover, I managed to escape with my life, although I am not sure about my parents though...I am assuming they were caught in the fray. After that, everything else is all a blur.
3. Second encounter with Michael: When I found myself on the outskirts of the capital, I was in condition to keep running...I was soon knocked out cold. It was Michael who found me sometime later, and he helped me recover from the shock of the sudden attack. There was something oddly different about Michael that I curious about...his hands were robotic. I didn't know why, but he told me that the doctor did this to him. It was a bit disturbing to see his hands, but I knew that he was okay overall. Soon, we made a pact to stop the doctor at all costs.
4. Encounter with Kai: During one of our scouting runs, me and Michael came across an Echidna who looked rather dead at first. When I applied some CPR, he was soon jarred awake. Seeing that he was an actual Echidna (and victim of the assault), we knew that he would join us in the fight to stop the doctor. He was a rather amazing Echidna (like most Echidna are made out to be), he proved his true worth in many tasks involving heavy lifting and other things of that matter.
5. The first meeting of the Freedom Fighters: (Though it's not heavily documented, this was an event that happened) The first time me and my friends met with the Freedom Fighters was during a raid on the doctor's base. It was a chance meeting, something none of us expected to happen. We were rather discrete about our actions for the most part, leaving no real trail or sign that we were there (besides the usual havoc we cause). As we made our way to safety, I bumped into Sally (accidentally that is). It was a rather strange run-in that was shrugged off, but I do believe that it was talked about on both sides. I will say that the encounter did change me in a few ways.
6. Discovery of our inert abilities Pt. 1: During the war, Michael, Kai, and me discovered strange abilities that showed themselves while we were just messing around. It wasn't quite clear how these powers were unlocked, but somehow, they had awakened. It was something that we did not expect to ever happen to us. The phrase "s**t happens" would about sum up our situation, until we got a defining anwser to our abilities.
7. The Doomsday Project: The end was near (on both ends), it was time for one last shot to take down the big guy and end his sick game. This time, the Freedom Fighters would need all the help they could get to stop the doctor, and we were there to to assist them (in a discrete manner). It was a rather lengthy fight that lasted nearly the entire day, but in the end...we won the battle.
8. Aftermath and clean-up: A few days after the doctor's exile, we began the effort to restore Mobius to its former glory. Just about every capable person was there to help out with the clean-up efforts. We did everything that we could to help out as well, even though we were still a little busted up. It took a few weeks to really clean up everything, but soon, the planet was looking better than it was...even though some parts will still scarred.
9. Leaving for Earth: After giving it some thought, I went through with the decision to leave the home world (Of course I had to go over this with my friends). I was given the choice to venture out to another world for my actions during the long war and my connections to the Royal Guard (I am the daughter of two lost soldiers). I was told to do some research as well, marking anything that was able to scan. I knew that my task was extremely important, so I made sure that I scanned as much as I could.
10 & 11. The return visit and discovery of my abilities Pt. 2: About a year later, I returned home with my friends in order to report my findings. The research team was pleased with my findings, earning me a few honors in the process. That didn't cover up the fact that something was still bothering me...I still wanted to know about my abilities and how I got them. I got some of my answers from an ancient tome and then from the eccentric Dr. Alphonse Myers. It was confirmed that a Chaos Emerald was responsible for the unusual power that was bestowed upon me, but it didn't answer how I came in contact with this powerful stone. That was soon cleared up when I found the gem lying in the forest, with the help of a Chaos energy scanner (developed with the use of some newly obtained technology). This finding also earned me another honor (along with my friends). Overall, I finally got my answers...finally.

Major Characters: This list contains the names of various characters who are of the utmost important in the story to date. Each character has been involved in key events or has been mentioned for specific features that distinguish themselves from all others.
1. Michael: My best friend and savior. He's been with me ever since we sorta collided one day on the streets of Mobotropolis. His charm and snappy wit caught my attention, and his good looks hooked me. Physical features aside, Michael was always a good friend to me, being there when I was alone or hanging out with me while I strolled about the city. When times grew dire during the war, Michael came to my aide when I found myself lying in the forest. He is still by my side to this day, playing that same role...as a good friend and ally.
2. Kai: My other friend and ally. His warm hearted demeanor and will kept me and Michael in good spirits when times were tough. Michael and I found Kai during a little expedition along the rivers edge, he was out cold and possibly near death. It was a fortunate turn of events when we were able to get him onto his own two feet again, and since that time he's proven to be more than a friend and ally...he was a blessing. He is still with us today, making up a trio of refugees.
3. Sonic: Hero of Mobius and all around friend. I only met him a few times in odd circumstances, seeing that he was always zooming off to different parts of Mobius in a flash of light. I did get one chance to hang around with him when the war finally ended (Not documented yet, but there is an entry of that day). He's a really cool guy, quick with a joke, cheerful as can be and even a guy you can talk to who has courtesy and charm. Michael told me that he looks up to him, seeing that he is a hedgehog, but the true reason is that he respects Sonic. I try to get in touch with him when I can.
4. Princess Sally: Savior of Mobius and leader to her people. Sally is another Mobian I got a chance to meet (as I mentioned before), she's a bit more stern compared to Sonic, but still is a caring individual. She is someone I look up to as a hero figure, for she is empowering to females. She has shown everyone that all females are capable of doing much more than what people dare to claim. When I told her about how she inspired me, she seemed rather flattered, although it wasn't too clear on the surface...deep down however; I could tell that meant a lot to her. I'm still looking into meeting with her again.
5-6. Sir Johnathan and Madame Sandra: My parents and members of the Royal Guard. you would never consider a Fox and a Hedgehog to be a couple, right? Well, this is one case where that belief is shot down and tossed away. Sandra and Jonathan were a grand couple, praised for their loyalty and surprising relationship. John was a Hedgehog (who looked almost like Sir Charles, but a tad deeper in hue), and Sandra was a fox (Just an average fox with pinkish fur). Both were deeply in love with each other, which of course this love converged into my creation. I was their only child, a Hedge-Fox. I was cherished as being a special child, a blessing in their lives. When the war began, I lost sight of them, thinking they died in battle. To this day, they are presumed dead.
7. Yoshimi Sugai: First friend on Earth. I met this crazy guy when I first set foot on my new home turf. I was a tad shy at first when I met him, but that soon wore off when I got to know him well enough. Yoshimi seemed rather different from most humans (seeing that he wasn't even human to begin with), he did show that he has emotions and compassion for life, which I told tell by his expressions through the music he played. When I saw the true side of this mysterious guy, I was even more amazed...for I have never seen anything (or anyone) like him before in my life. I still hang out with him when I can...along with my friends in tow.
8. Mulberry: The toughest female I know to this date. I never gave her presence much thought when I first met her. She seemed to be rather coarse and shielded her emotions to a high degree. I did notice that she always had this quiet stare when something or someone caught her eye. It was only when Michael was in sheer pain tat Mulberry sprang into action, saving his life with her (truly amazing) brute strength. She seems to follow commands without question, but when she is not taking orders; she takes great pleasure in handing out quips and comical insults. I feel as if I am in her debt right now, for she did so much for my best friend. I must get to know her better, hopefully I can crack that shell of hers in the process.
9. Dr. Leo Sugai: A great doctor and a savior. I first met him when Yoshimi wanted me to see his "father", he thought that I should pay him a visit. Leo is a caring individual, kind at heart and very modest with his opinions. He made me feel welcome when the first time I met with him. I really didn't seem to have any trouble communicating with him, for I felt comfortable whenever I responded one of his questions. When I needed his help (this was when Michael was in serious trouble), he was there to lend a hand. He didn't even think twice, he let me and all my friends bring Michael in so he can be saved. He gladly let some of my friend help him out as well, that showed his trust in me and anyone else I knew. He is yet another person that I owe a debt to.
10. Mauve "Lavender" Murasaki: A true friend among any Mobian I know. As I have mentioned in my journal/diary, Mauve is one of my best friends (alongside Michael) who I enjoy talking to. He really understands me on an intellectual level. Although I can clearly see the innocence that lies within him, but what shows on the outside is a very strong and caring individual who is a born leader. I sometimes notice that Mulberry is by his side, although I have no idea why however. Mauve seems to know how to respond to each individual of his aforementioned "Lavender Squad", providing different forms of feedback to everyone, whether it be a joking response or a serious response. Mauve shows a lot of compassion for anyone who he considers a friend. This is evident when Michael was in sheer pain, he reached the point of using his gifts to keep Michael from suffering during an operation to save his life. I am glad that he is around, for he is a true friend that plan to keep by my side a long time.
11. Violet Hill: A truly great female friend and all around awesome person. We share a very special bond between each other, much like anyone else she happens to be close to. I respect that, which makes the relations thing work out really well. We both had a nice time as just us girls a long while back, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I'd love to do it again! Even when I did have to leave for a while, I was still had a special place deep down in her heart, so I knew that if one day I did come back, she'd welcome me with open arms. Much like Mauve, I care about Violet deeply and love to speak to her when she possible. To have friends like that is a true blessing, it really is.
